    Cora blew up the season unless these guys can kick it into gear go on a run and get some luck along the way. In order to make the run necessary to take the Division in 2019, Cora is going to have to ride his horses hard. The opportunity for rest has come and gone. He gave them April off. Now, he has to ride them every day. And guess what , come September they will be banged up. There is just no avoiding the grueling effects of the season. Maybe Cora didn’t understand that because he was always a backup player.

    It can be pinned directly on Cora. He was handed the exact same team as last season that dominated baseball. This is all attributable to his monstrously stupid lack of preparation for his pitchers. These guys were not ready for the regular season until the end of April. By that time, the team had dug itself a huge hole. It set the tone in a negative direction every bit as much as the fast start in 2018 set a positive tone. This is not an anomaly. The team was not prepared to start the season.

    Maybe Cora should have rested him in Spring Training.

    3 homers thus far in the second inning. I am sitting down the left field line so I got a good look at all of them. I still think their lineup is trash compared to the Red Sox.

    Like I said, I would rather jump out to a lead and then rest guys. If Cora wants to win the Division, he will have to keep the pedal to the floor and the guys will be worn out by September anyway.

    i am not saying to fire him, but his approach in spring training is responsible for the brutally bad start. I am a believer that it is better to jump ahead out of the gate and take some time to cruise during mid season. His approach to the start of the season was arrogant and misguided.

    I am at Yankees game today to see Paddack pitch for the Pads. The Yankees lineup sucks balls. We should not be trailing this team.

    The gamethread mojo violation must be punished by the mods. It is the second violation this season and both resulted in losses. A stiff punishment must be meted out to serve as a deterrent.

    He could have had his starters ready for opening day. It was that ill advised decision that put the team in a deep hole. The bullpen was fine for the first month. He lost the Division in March and April.

    This is the second time that we have had a game thread violation. The mods need to impose a ban.

    Screw the post game show. I am not interested in Cora's rationalizations and excuses. He f***ed this game up big time. Brasier blew up the game, but then he replaced him with a real bush leaguer.

    It is on DD to get some lock down arms in the bullpen. His hand has been forced because we are in danger of falling out of the Divisional race because Cora decided to give the Starting pitchers the month of March off.

    Cora raised the white flag with this kid. 7 run rule in the 9 th inning. That is a first.

    And that is the game. We put 2 bags of garbage on the mound to try to lock down this game. This bum will go to the minors tomorrow. So much for gaining ground on the Yankees.
