Did I hear right that Millar will be throwing out the first pitch? They said they tried to get Pedro but the Mets declined to give permission. f*** Omar Minaya. Now, I am glad that his team collapsed. Pedro may be a Met, but he'll always be a Red Sox. He should have been a big man and realized that.

When I first read about his kid, I knew that he was in for a very rough stretch. It's a helpless feeling when your little kid has an illness, and his kid had a very severe and painful condition. That takes a toll on the parents. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, he has ended his season on a high note. People will remember tha Grand Salami and it will overshadow the rest of his season.
