Arroyo really isnt need with all the pitching the Red Sox have. Pena adds depth to an OF which really didnt have any other than Dustan Mohr and possible Juan Gonzalez. Pena is a young guy with so much power potential. I think he'll turn out to be a 35-40 HR guy in the next couple of years.
id rather have nixon and pena split time this year, and have pena take over full time next year.
ALSO, in the foxsports article it says Pena averaged a HR every 16 AB's, i think playing in the AL and at Fenway Park could bring that down to 14-15 which if he had 550 AB's would be 35+ HR.

thats my guess at the starters for the first 3 series.
redick doesnt have nearly as good ball-handling skills as AI either. Redick just a sharp-shooter who i think might be a nice fit on the celtics who could use a young shooter
my pats mock draft
1. Bobby Carpenter—OLB
2. Jonathan Joseph–CB
3a. Leon Williams–MLB
3b. Jeff Webb–WR
4a. Fred Matua–G
4b. Le Kevin Smith–DT
5. Brandon Marshall–WR
6. Tyrone Culver–S
7. Barrick Nealy–QB
i think it does a pretty good job filling holes and brings in some good potential.
that is a really nice stadium. I like the idea of having all that stuff in CF. The pool, picnic tables, etc. That would be a very good stadium for the fans
do the pats know that they have been allowed to meet with FA since last Friday. They havnt had 1 meeting and they havnt had any interest in re-signing anyone as of now. I would bet Minnesota puts alot of money on Neal. They came into the offseason needing to bolster there o-line and could by signing Neal and Hutchinson.
updated the list. The Pats have to be 1 of the only teams not to make a move yet. It doesnt sound like they have any FA in their plans either, except for Vernon Hayes.
i like what the redskins have done so far. They've vastly overpaid for guys, but there team should look good next year. Adding, Archuleta, Carter, Randle El, Fauria and trading for Lloyd should help them offensively and defensively
If Hutchinson goes to Minny, they will have a pretty sick o-line. Birk, Hutchinson, Mckinnie would be a huge help to whoevers running the ball for them.
Rams signed Will Witherspoon to a six year deal. He was probably the best LB available
Moss, Lloyd, Randle El is a solid WR core. This should help Moss alot now that teams have to worry about 2 other wideouts. Is Brunell still the starting QB in washington? Id like to see Cambell get a shot.
The Vikings signed Steve Hutchinson to an offer sheet. The seahawks have 7 days to match the offer which is supposedly a ridiculous amount of money (49 million for 7 years).
