  1. he, and loweel should replace their current eladers, both of whom are way more deserving then those currently assigend to the all-star game, and that's a totally unbiased opinion (in terms of yankees-sox)
  2. I think it's okay, as of now it lacks any spark or color, maybe make the the font to that of the red sox, and make it red? but the design is not bad. Also maybe change the bubble the sox design is in to navy blue, or something. Also, maybe put the "since 2004" under it more, and not to the lower-right, and include it in the sox font. If I can make any designs I'll post it.
  3. Man, that left side of the infield is one of the best i've ever seen, I mean I geus sthey didn't get much publicity because they were in FLA, but Lowell and Gonzalez make everything look sooo easy.
  4. Yanks are rumored to be close to dealing Hughes for Lee from the Brewers
  5. well, i figured our hate towards him was all done and over with, I mean we cheered his supposed final game at Fenway, we wouldve been happy if he signed back with us, and then we just boo him, i dont get it.
  6. Ive been hearing that too. Man, would I do that deal in an instant.
  7. I would do that deal, but nothing more, and lest not forget the Os were asking fro lester ON TOP of Ramirez last time. So I doubt they would take anything less than eitehr Hansen or Lester in a deal. IMO, I wouln't try this deal, and if we go after anyone, let it be a pitcher.
  8. Well, It'll be interesting to see how he pitches against his former 'mates, and how our guys do against him, if we get morethan 3 runs I'll be suprised.
  9. If they took Clement, Alvarez, and Pedroia for Tejada they'd be insane, the best part of that deal for them is Pedroia, who I believe can be a very ood MINF one day at the Major League level. We would need to throw in a SOLID SP, which we can't really afford to do right now as we still need anotehr solid starter. I say we let Tejada go someplace else, hopefully a NL team, and just focus on getting a starter. Plus, do we really need more offense? I mean we're averaging 7 runs a game lately, I know it's against the NL Teams, but it aint lookin like it's just because of that.
  10. Yeah, I'd be supried if I hear a boo, though I was suprised Roger got booed at the team 86 ceremony thing.
  11. why not, good bench bat, and should get more playing time as Lowell gets older.
  12. Yeah, we have plenty of promising arms in our minors already, why not trade the ones with the higehst stock as of now for him, as long as it doesn't involvethe Big 4 in the Majors already. Then again, I'd deal Delcarmen for him.
  13. He's lookin good so far, even if it is in Lowell
  14. I did too, I guess he just wants to ruin it completely, not just by getting all the wrong players.
  15. Not that I'm undermining Loretta's value to this team and his accomplishments, but he basically ahs an empty average,a s in all his hits are just hits, he's not scoring an insane amount of runs, getting a lot of RBIs or hitting a ton of homers. So, if teh Sox choose to move up pedroia, he'd just have to match teh average to do a good job IMO. He's already a proven defensive MINF so the defense won't be a problem, plus he can give us a few million back to go after a pitcher. Anotehr option is moving him back to SS. He would still give us a killer DP combo, perhaps keeping AGone as a defensive mentor? and also gains us perhaps another Loretta in the lineup. Some have said he can't move back to SS, but I see no reason why not if he already ahs experience there.
  16. Well, considering no one is standing out or consistent so far, Liriano and Papelbon may not only be in contention to win the ROY, but the Cy Young perhaps, though Ryan may be put into that category. Also I can't think of any locks for MVP either.
  17. -Buster Olney couldn't get rest of srticle, but I thought this was a little interesting
  18. This brings up a question Ive ahd and can't figrue out what will happen because it's hard to tell which way will benefit us better. Do we keep Papelbon as a closer? or move him once Hansen is ready? Or do we switch hansen to be a starter and keep Papelbon there?
  19. Joe Morgan is the worst color commentator besides Tim Mccarver
  20. Yeah, a lot of peope think we ahd major losses in MicGinnest and Givens, but what we lostw e gained back in jackson and Harrison coming back at SS. Colvin and Vrabel will keep us solid at LB with Bruschi coming back for a full-season, and our running game will be a hel of a lot betetr with a healthy Dillon and big play making Maroney back there. Our big defensive problem alst eyar was our secondary, and they received a big boost wih harrison back there.
  21. 2 veterans goin' at it for their teams, if it's anything close to the Schilling-Santana game, that'd be great.
  22. Hudson isn't the same as he was a few years ago, and Lester has the advantage of not being seen before, so we should have somewhat of a better chance tonight.
  23. what gave me nightmares for weeks:
  24. Tonight..Relief is spelled L-O-P-E-Z
