  1. Breslow was very good when given the opportunity alst eyar, he came in soem tough spots and did his job. If Okajima is the set up man (cross finegrs for closer) we all hope he could be, breslow could take voer as the lefty specialist.
  2. Id rather have Cordero big time. He's younger, cheaper, and should develop into one of the best in the game soon enough. Plus he does look cool with the flat brim.
  3. Good pick up it seems, Vidro's a solid hitter, kinda like Loretta
  4. Well, I think we should all ante up some money and join Theo in the World Series of Poker, so he can use that mean bluff n win the Sox some cold hard cash
  5. I agree, I think we were a bit too impatient with Coco. If we get a good closer with him though, Ill be cool. Then again, we got Ellsbury comin up n he would take Cocos place anyway
  6. Lugo, SS Youkilis, 1B Ortiz, DH Ramirez, LF Drew, RF Pena, CF (He looked decent out there last year) Varitek, C Lowell, 3B Pedroia, 2B Schilling Beckett Matsuzaka Wakefield Papelbon CL - Gonzalez Good team if we can get one more middle reliver
  7. Yeah, out of all the yankee sluggers, he scared me the most. Just how quick his bat was, and whenever he used to swing it looked like he'd cause a vortex. I mean yeah he's getting old, and he's a selfish player, but he was scary as hell.
  8. Yeah, 6 years 52 mill is a steal, sounds like D-Mat stood up to Boras or Boras flinched
  9. Its called a joke dumbass, why would I ever call Wang a bad pitcher
  10. Chien-Ming Wang: May 22nd: @ Bos: 6 IP, 7 ER June 1st: @ Det: 4 IP, 5 ER July 3rd: @ Cle: 5.1IP, 5 ER Aug 13th: @ ANA: 5.1 IP, 5 ER See!?!!? Wang sucks too!!!! he won't amount to anything!!! He can't win!!!!! See what you sound like?
  11. Your tellin me Minny's/Anaheim's line-up isn't half bad? Also isn't the 16th in September a little soon to be packing it in? Considering how we chizzled your 10 game lead to 2 a few years ago, and also it's the Yankees, the most tight ass team in abseball, they're supposed to "not stop playing hard ever" or so they say.
  12. And why is it when he loses bad he gets "POUNDED" and yet when he wins it's either because it's a not too heavy hitting team or a team that's "packed it in"? A little biased I feel?
  13. August 19th. POUNDED by NYY. 9BB 7H 5IP 9ER August 24th Beats ANA, team that doesnt hit well to begin with 6IP 1ER August 29th Loses to Oak 2ER 7IP, they cannot hit either Sept 3rd Loses to TOR 5IP 3ER 7 baserunners. Sept 9th Loses to KC 8IP 4ER 10 baserunner Sept 16th Beats NYY 6IP 2ER 4H 5BB to a team that had already packed it in Sept 21st Beats MIN 8IP 0ER another team that cannot hit Sept 27th POUNDED by TB. Dont give me the whole he was left in too long routine. He was at 92 pitches when he was pulled. 6.2IP 8ER. That line doesn't look too bad.
  14. Giles looks rlllly nice, but Ill stick with P-droia
  15. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/articles/2006/12/12/boras_demands_way_out_of_line/ Cahfahhhdo speakin da troooof!
  16. Ouch, man hopefully he and Lester and get better soon.
  17. They say he's been dissapointing so far, but Ive been happy with him. I never thought he got too many opp's.
  18. Maybe it's a 14x4 contract, or maybe its the largest given to a non-MLB experienced player, Idk, maybe they just ponied up. f***in' Scott Boras.
  19. When you look at it, 15 mill isn't as bad as you think, especially if we sign him to a long contract, then we might end up saving money instead of having to re-up the salary at the end of the contract we wanted.
