  1. The Broncos are a completely different story compared to the Colts as we do not match up well with the Mile High club at all, and they have owned us unelss we intentionally safety a win. We essentially are to the Colts what the Broncos are to us, though lately Peyton has come in and beaten us. Also, playing in Indy doesn't worry me at all, and how exactly build a UNIT for a dome? Oh and by the way, who has beaten them at home before? The Pats. Who are they facing this weekend? The Pats. Yes, it could be just like last year, I'm not garunteeing victory, but as I feel this is Peyton's best chance at beating us in the playoffs as he's ever had, I feel it's our best opportunity to beat them as WE'VE ever had. If the Colts are going to depend on their defense to win for them, and Peyton contineus to struggle, then yeah, I like our chances, as this is the best overall offense they have faced yet (Trent Green couldn't come up big when the Colts designed a scheme specifically to stop LJ, McNair had to make one betetr throw at the 3 yard line and we'd be in Maryland). However, if Peyton gets back to himself and has a terrific game, then it will be a classic and our chances decrease more. But until he shows that he can wake up from 5 picks in the last two weeks, I'm not as scared as I would be.
  2. Firstly, I'm not being cocky, secondly, I was just putting out some stats of why I believe we could win. I wasn't bein a tool and predicting a 40-3 score for the Pats, THEN I'll be cocky. I'm less scared of the Chargers then the Colts, but I think they are smarter (no rookie QB, better coach) so they could sheme and this should be a good game. Please, you'll know when I'm cocky. At least I was listing facts.
  3. umm yea f*** US soccer, we had our chance when we had Pele, though it'd be sick if we did get as good as even the crappiest European leagues. For now, I'm fine watching the Gunners in the Prem across the pond.
  4. We don't lose to the same team twice in the same year. Peyton was horrid against the #1 defense, and geuss who he's playing this weekend (the #2) . The defense has gotten lucky with it's matchups, and I'll take Brady in a dome with the Pats on the road.
  5. in total agreement with everything said. The Chargers were by far the best team we couldv'e played in the playoffs, they were the best team in the league. I am NOT scared of Indy at all. This would be BBs greatets superbowl form a coaching standpoint due to the personel he ahs to put out on the field compared to our other teams.
  6. And the Charegrs are herdly the ones to be talking about class:
  7. I think itw as more personal towards Merriman, I mean he was talkin some smack this week and the Pats were just playing the underdog. I don't think it has anything to do with class at all.
  8. Not only a good rapper but he can apparently hit for some power.
  9. nvm, didn't know you had to have made picks throughout the season.
  10. There's no specific law or NFL rule against it, a facility can limit it's customers to a certain extent.
  11. The Bears are doing or have done it in the past.
  12. lol, damn straight, they are proving temselves to the country right now, just plain outplaying THE Ohio State in every aspect of the game. I mean besides the Ginn Jr run back in the begining it's been FLA all the way.
  13. Yeah, there's no telling stat really, I eman our great defense counetrs their great offense, our decent offense counters their decent defense (and is it decent, it's not great), Chokenheimer is 5-12 in the play-offs, but 7-1 vs. the pats.
  14. Yeah, the batted fumble was a big momentum turn on the Jets. They seemed to be able to drive the ball but would always stall in the red zone. If that play doesn't happen, it couldv'e been a totally different ball game, as the Pats really put it away in the late 4th. As for the Chargers, we're gunna have to win on pure brains n guts. Belichck has to find a way to juggle Gates and Tomlinson, while keeping Rivers off balance (I'd like to see a bit of Mangini's "walk around til the snap" method). Also he needs the O-Line to come up big again and keep tabs on Philips and Merriman.
  15. yeah, Mangini is a good coach, now he just needs to get the personnel his way (liek Cochery) and build it his way.
  16. Agreed, the Patriots don't pay bloated salaries, unelss they absolutely need you (Tom Brady). However, theys ee it as being a priveledge to play with their team, and if your eally want to go to a worse team for more money, then go right ahead, we'll see you next season. They've shown it with Branch and Givens, and we'll do it with Samuel if needed. Also, I agree riverside, we should focus on corners and receivers this draft, though I think all our receivers this year just needed time with Brady.
  17. yea, f***in yankees ruin everything
  18. yeah, the leafs have wrekced us in the past 3 games scoring 21 goals in the 3. I tuned out at 6-2
  19. That might explain what the Sox thought when they sigend him for 4 mill garunteed. I think we have a good shot this works out, and out of everyone we had Pinerio is certainly better in my mind for the closer's role.
  20. I'd use Wakey as a #3. I mean a low 4's ERA and 15 wins is not impossible for this guy. If everyone can recall we used him in the top of the rotation for the past few seasons.
  21. I think he does, but then again, that term could be used for just about everyone in a way. What I mean is, he has shown at times that he can actually be an ace (2003 playoffs, flashes in 05 season) and usually keeps us in the game. I'm not saying he's a Schilling or is betetr than anyone in our rotation, but he is solid to say the least, nto to mention a Yankee killer.
