You know, when I watch a game and they show a headshot of Giambi while a relative of mine is in the room (my family doesnt follow baseball except for me), they ask me, "Why does Giambi just look so dumb"?

Exactamundo. Creatine is used by several pro athletes who want to retain water content in their muscles. I wish I was a strong enough athlete to say I take creatine. :thumbdown

So you don't think he would have tested positive for steroids? I disagree with you there, but he might still take HGH I think because that hasnt been banned.

He threw 80 pitches in 7 innings. He could have like 10 complete games if he pitched like this for a whole season.

The way things are going it looks as if Small will be a number 3 starter for the rest of the season. Not that I mind.

eh. Only losers blame refs/umps, believe me, my sports teams in other sports have been screwed over by bad calls, but that's life. :dunno:

he probably expected better of the fat bastard, but oh well. I just hope (for your sake) his back doesnt go out in late September/October, the injury bug has killed us this year, it has killed you (but at least you didnt start off 11 - 19....) and if Wells backs out,(what a pun) especially in a big game, you'll know how Yankee fans felt in the 2nd inning of Game 5 of the 2003 World Series.

BTW, what did you guys think about Schilling arguing that a batter was out at first and having the umps reverse the call a few weeks ago? Was it fair or not (in your mind)?
