In his last start Hughes line was: 6IP 5H 1R 1ER 1BB 4K You look at the line and say its a good start but not really outstanding. What made it great IMO was he threw mostly fastballs and he had a GB-FB ratio of 13-1.

Yep, the kid is only 19 going on 20 years old. He needed time to adjust and his last 2 starts have been outstanding. I'm also hoping to get a chance to see him down in Trenton.

On a brighter note tonight Phil Hughes was pitching for Trenton tonight. This was his line so far: 7IP 1H 3BB 0ER 8K His best start in AA so far.
