  1. Ditto. I had mine all typed up, but then I saw this post and read back the responses of those two. They definitely deserve it before me.
  2. I think there's a good chance Pujols hit #714 before Bonds.
  3. And threw a runner out at the plate. It's hilarious how afraid you are of this guy.
  4. You are too funny. Better pitching? Since when is a 4.56 ERA (Boston) better than 3.79 (NY)? It seems you would know something about being delusional.

What are the chances we see Soriano in left field? The guys on Baseball Tonight were hinting at it. I don't see it happening, but it sounds like something Steinbrenner would pursue.
  6. Not with Hideki's season almost certainly over. Melky is showing alot of improvement from last year; it's clear he wasn't ready then. As long as he's somewhat productive with the bat (productive by the 9 hole's standards) and plays the field decently, he should do the job for the Yankees.
  7. Sturtze leaving the roster is great for us. I mean the loss of Matsui and Sheff are the Yankees 'falling apart,' this is the Yankees coming together.
  8. Scott Erickson will be taking Sturtze's spot on the roster.
  9. Odds are Torre still finds a way to get him into a close game...
  10. STURTZE IS GOING ON THE DL! http://www.johnberman.com/pics/funny/hooray.jpg
  11. This weather is incredibly annoying. We do need the rain, but could it at least be consistent? Yesterday it would pour for a few minutes, then just drizzle...and today it's beautiful out.
  12. And remain undefeated in day games.
  13. Trade him for some bats.
  14. Don't forget the bruised ego from the Yankees not picking up his option. That's certainly not helping the recovery process.
  15. The YES commentators just pointed out something about the team the Yankees put out on the field today. 5 of the 9 guys in the lineup are from the Yankee farm system (Jeter, Williams, Cano, Phillips, and Cabrera.) I found that interesting. Oh, and while we're on the game, 3 run shot by A-Rod! 3 - 0 Yankees!

Yeah, it probably wouldn't take much to make KC happy.

If Melky/Bubba can't produce I expect a trade. Who's an OF who is in the last year of their contract and their team is willing to part with them??

  19. I'm really impressed with Cano's defense this year. Bowa did a good job this spring with him.
  20. Matsui. (I'm already putting his name forward for 2007 Comeback Player of the Year. )
  21. Is it okay with everyone if I go to bed? I know you people get kind of antsy if Yankee fans don't post when the Yankees lose.
  22. You're happy that players on the other team might be seriously injured? That's kind of pathetic.
  23. Oh well...win some, lose some. Now, it's just time to hope that Matsui gets back in pinstripes relatively soon.
  24. How do you not have Jorge bunting? Joe, give me a break.
