Yeah, big market teams can use their resources to put together good teams. I know, as a Boston fan, this might be an odd notion to you after watching a $120 million team give up 14 more runs than it scored and miss the playoffs entirely.

A batting title is a big accomplishment for a player, regardless of what team they play for.
Jeter had the oppurtunity to move into first, but he grounds out.
A stolen base, a hit that practically ties him with Mauer in the batting race, a nice over the shoulder catch...
Jeter's making a good case for himself on the last day of the season.
Yankees vs. Dodgers would be an interesting match up (I'm sure the guys at Fox are just drooling over the little clips to play at the start of each broadcast.)
Could be worse. We could have given up two talented, young, major league ready players for him. And one of them could have thrown a no-hitter. I can't imagine what giving up that kind of talent for a guy who can't keep a basbeball in the park would be like.
