    The Sox have to finish the season off at 30-7 the rest of the way to even have a chance at the division and even that probably won't be enough. Sadly at this point wild card is the only shot and if they can't get to that with the remaining schedule that they have then it would be quite the failure on this team.

    True. They responded by going 10-3 after that. Unless they do something similar this year you can stick a fork in it. Going 5-5 in the next 10 games isn't going to cut it. Probably would be in 4th place by then at the rate the Jay's and Yankees are winning

    The 2013 team never had that bad of a stretch. They were pretty consistent throughout the year

    Good teams don't go through this BAD of a stretch. This is not just losing 4 out of 6 games and get back on track. This is losing 10 out of 12 games and who knows when they will get back on track.

    Same. His career ERA is essentially 4. You can find plenty of those arms for way cheaper
