    the only good thing that pena brings to this team is DH and we have the best in the game now so theres no point, he's got to be one of the worst defensive outfielder out there and like i said earlier his OBP sucks big time

    still not the point you keep saying all of this power he's gonna have and hit 40 HR when he's never did it , if he keeps this pace next year he'll hit 20

    pretty close to me in a full season with 600AB pena would get 20HR and nixon would get 12 not much of a difference to me

    ok , pena is not a big upgrade over nixon , if anything he's not ,his fielding sucks and his OBP sucks even more not to mention he gets injured alot like nixon so where's the big upgrade? homerun hitter>? BTW jsinger how the hell is pena gonna hit alot of homeruns when this year he only averaged one in 25 AB , wich is not alot better than nixon so wheres all this homerun pop your talking about ?

    well first of all he still has 2 years left on his contract , so nobody is right at the moment , 2 good year would erase that , on the other hand here's a question for you ,who would you rather have picked ? clement for 10 mil a year or pedro for 14 a year? well as it stands clement is toast and pedro could be good to go next year

    he has to win MVP ,even without making the playoffs , its too bad he had to have that heart problem cause he would of have finished over 60 HR 150RBI's , id rather have boston win the WS than ortiz winning the MVP but with the sox out of the race im still cheering for papi to win it
