From what I read , the Sox only have 32MIL to spend to stay under Lux tax. So there is obviously 2 of drew,Ells,Nap,Salty that will be gone for sure, unless they get rid of salary somewheres.

As much as I don't like Salty's defense, I'd prefer him at 3-4 years at around 9 Mil a year than Mcann who will cost close to 20M a year.

On a unrelated note, Salty would accept a lower deal to stay in Boston as he likes to play there. Reports is that Mcann will be quite expensive as in close to 100M. Ill pass on that and keep Salty for quite cheaper
