    This is horrible, I know people say pitching and D wins championships, but you need offense too. 2005-ChiSox-good O 2004-Redsox-great Offense 2003 Marlins-Mostly pitching but they had a good lineup 2002-angles-solid lineup with good power 2001-D-backs they had 60 Hrs from Gonzo plus Mark Grace and Matt Williams 1998-2000- we know how great the Yankees Lineup was

    Here is a spark for Debate, Would the Sox have been better off keeping Mirabelli, and Graff. Graff is a solid second basemen, and Wake was comfortable with Dougie. Even if Lorreta returns to form, really how much better could he do than 310. with like 7 jacks and 35 rbis in half a season

    No, but I really think we overratted him he is 34, sometimes baseball players start getting worse in their mid 30's, I also am wondering that ifwe kept Graffy and Mirabelli we wouldnt be better off, Graff hit 310. with us last year. Its just something to think about

    The key word was it was only 6 games. I dont see what Coco not being there has that much to do with Lorreta hitting 220. He has Manny and Papi behind him, he is seeing all fastballs.
