1. I like Joe Torre as a manager. Yes, he has championships and a long streak of playoff appearances but Yankee fans also have to remember how the Yankees poorly did with previous managers such as Buck Showalter, Stump Merril, Bucky Dent, Dallas Green and so on.
2. Alex Rodriguez is a God send to the Yankees and will continue to produce great results. I hope they keep him for a very long time.
3. Derek Jeter is a great player but I think Yankee fans are mainly complaining about his RISP batting average. I like Bernie Williams too but he is slumping something awful lately. I have no idea what happened to him. He's like a completely different player. Very weird. As for Jorge Posada, I never expected him to hit 300 so I never really complained. Some fans talk about his pitching calls when in fact the pitcher really has the final say...
So why do some Yankee fans complain? Well in a nutshell, they want results and they want them now. Of course, that doesn't quite work...
