  1. if Damon is still stealing bases with a broken foot, he should be able to keep up the rest of his game
  2. I would but id love to see Lowell and Youk at 7-8. thats 1-2 quality OBP guys right there
  3. relax, he left Wake in there 1 batter too late. who would you have confidence in in that situation instead anyway? Tavarez or Seanez? No. Foulke after last night? No. Riske right off the DL? No. Timlin with inherited runners? No. And you don't go to Paps in the 7th
  4. Damon, Jeter and Sheffield in 13 pitches. f***ing ay
  5. my god, is this kid ever a godsend or what?
  6. yea he was probably too late taking out Wake but its nice to see Tito isnt mailing it in by putting Seanez in or something
  7. gotta like the call of putting Paps in, give the team a real chance to win this thing
  8. ill make a mess on my computer screen if Papi ties this thing
  9. thatta boy, Mark. the man who never strikes out lives up to his billing
  10. the way this season has been going for him, I'd love to see Manny admire a f***load more homeruns than he has
  11. This is my ideal lineup for when everyone is healthy CF Coco 2B Loretta DH Ortiz LF Manny RF Nixon C Varitek 3B Lowell 1B Youkilis SS Gonzalez/Cora Lowell and Youkilis towards the bottom of the order while being able to keep firepower and good on-base guys towards the top and middle would be so key and make the entire order as well-balanced as any in the majors
  12. I'll always picture Moose as an Oriole anyway. I respect the hell out of Jeter and if Jeter was a Sox, he would be a GOD here. I'd cheer Mo and Matsui as well. The only Yankees that ever had a soft spot in my heart were Bernie and Paul O'Neill so Bernie would get a cheer as well. The rest can go f*** themselves
  13. I agree. If there is a better bargain in all of baseball than Kevin Youkilis right now, I'd like to see it, unless his name is Jonathan Papelbon who actually makes less than Youk at $335,400
  14. Did a bit of research to find out just how these two stacked up. Here are my findings: Kevin Youkilis .311 Batting Average .424 On-Base Percentage 4 HR 22 RBI 12 Doubles 1 Triple 27 Runs 1 Stolen Base Salary: $354,600 Johnny Damon .281 Batting Average .356 On-Base Percentage 4 HR 24 RBI 11 Doubles 0 Triples 34 Runs 11 Stolen Bases Salary: $13 million And Damon has had 28 more at-bats. Only 7 more runs scored and that's just cause Manny hasn't been Manny. What Youk has been doing is absolutely remarkable.
  15. Take out Giambi and put in Sheffield? fine by me, Sox win 6-3 tonight after a solo blast by "If it doesn't count, count on" A-Rod in the 9th
  16. if anything, this just lets Foulke know that he can't take any nights off besides, look at it this way. better he has his off night while inheriting an 8 run lead in the 9th
  17. there was no reason to boo Damon, there sure as hell isnt a reason to boo Petey. he gave Boston several years of good service and has earned RSN's respect
  18. doesnt really matter, I was watching 24 anyway. youre not spoiling anything for me
  19. thats very lame of you btw. sour grapes like whoa
  20. The Sox are built to succeed in today's, more evolved game and Theo clearly realized he needed to do that this past off-season and we're seeing the effects
  21. Colter Bean.......aaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha
  22. I think he objects to referring to him as a chink
