    The Blue Jays were recently in Cleveland, a group of Guardians fans were heckling Jays centerfielder Vernon Wells. After a barrage of insults, one of the hecklers actually asked Wells for a ball.     all of his comments in regards to Bonds and steroid use in general were very neutral, but he does have a point. you never know when you might accidentally ingest a banned substance. Jose Theodore the hockey goalie was banned from the last olympics because of a banned substance found in Propecia, a hairloss product he was using

    I'd say he's talking more about the BP in general blowing leads which is true considering they're working more than a 12 year old in a Thailand Nike factory

    There's no question it makes the Yankees stronger. Still not as strong as the Red Sox IMO, but it definitely makes them stronger. But if we're talking from a financial standpoint, the Sox can get more value for $30 million at the trade deadline then spending it on Clemens

    How in the f*** are the Red Sox weaker cause of this? How did the roster change from yesterday? This is like people giving Schilling s*** for saying the Sox don't need Clemens. Well, he's right, they don't. This team, if it stays healthy, is good enough to win the World Series thus justifying the fact that they don't NEED him the way the Yankees do

    in the end, the Sox simply weren't willing and probably weren't able to do whatever it took to outbid the Yankees and time will tell whether they're gonna pay a hefty price for the way things turned out but I don't place blame on the FO for this

    Clemens was a top priority but the Sox weren't in a state of desperation to get him the way the Yankees were. Besides, if Clemens really wanted to come to Boston, the agent would've come to Boston saying "New York has offered $28 million, can you match that?" rather than "We've decided to sign elsewhere"

    under no circumstances were the Yankees going to be outbid by the Red Sox. if the Sox offered $35 mil, the Yankees would've offered $40 mil. bottom line, if John Henry put up $28 mil, it wouldn't have put Roger in a Sox uniform
