  2. Beckett says he ripped the finger on his first pitch to Millar in the 4th. I went back to look at it in the MLB.tv archive and you can see him checking out his finger after every pitch

  5. that's wonderful analysis by Phillips then, I guess that's why they pay him the big bucks as far as Beckett goes, I would find it hard to believe that he'll be back on the mound unless he and the team are confident in throwing his curveball without damaging his finger. but im sure he'll throw a few side sessions to make sure he has that command

  14. The thing that sets Faithful apart is the genuine reaction you get from the ups and downs of the season. Thats what makes the Boston Red Sox movie that was released after the 2003 season so great too but obviously, Faithful ends a little better
