    I'd think the fact that he was undergoing arm troubles could be directly linked to the high ERA and what he'll be like post-TJ is definitely an issue but he's got good stuff and could probably return to being one of baseball's better closers

    Yea, I wasn't crazy about the Steelers playing music either, have a little respect for the guy on the field. I'm sure Steeler fans could've gone a few minutes without having to be entertained by music. And as far as the hit itself goes, Clark led with his shoulder, it was a clean hit. Football is a contact sport, it happens.

    Considering Ortiz put up 23 HRs and 89 RBIs despite missing close to two months and despite playing with a wonky wrist after he came back, there's really no cause to giving up on him yet. Yea, he doesn't have Manny behind him anymore but it's not as if opposing pitchers are gonna be so eager to put him on first so they can pitch to Youkilis instead

    Not if they have no organizational loyalty and desperately want to hit the free agent market But in the case of Papelbon, it would surprise me somewhat if he went to a city whose residents showered his wife with death threats
