  1. lucky for Cleveland, Penny sucks as well
  2. Anthony Reyes has to be the worst starting pitcher ive seen the Sox face this year so far, Mark Hendrickson included
  3. They won 12 in a row in 2006 and I dont remember that being the record Upon a bit of research, they won 15 in a row in 1946
  4. let's get on a bit of a roll here, maybe ill be able to pick again before May

  6. ill just go ahead and bring up Webb's current shoulder issues. it isnt structural but there was enough concern to visit Birmingham
  7. My understanding is that you pick three outfielders, regardless of where they play regularly. But obviously if none of your outfielders can conceivably play center field anywhere, people will take that into account when judging your team.
  8. obviously, this doesnt warrant its own thread but I wanted to post it somewhere. On EEI, Pete Sheppard just asked Lou Merloni "if Daniel Bard comes up this year, do you think it will be for a spot start or relieving?" Christ....
  9. I dont get it, doesnt EEI add a new affiliate like every week?
  10. ive really gotten into this thing but I hate when the momentum is sucked out....
  11. both western conference semi-finals are gonna be OUTSTANDING series
  12. If I was a betting man, I would've probably bet the Guardians last night. Cliff Lee has rounded into form over his last few starts, I figured Wakefield was due to come back to earth and the Sox got into Cleveland at 3am after three grind-it-out games over the weekend. Glad to be proven wrong.
  13. CC pitched a complete game...
  14. thats three starts in a row where he eats up a good chunk of the game to give the bullpen some much-needed rest too
  15. He's done it for 2+ years now and if he needs to take 3-4 weeks off in June to make it through the season, so be it. I don't think it takes a genius to realize that once Wake goes under the knife to fix the labrum, his career is done
  16. Kottaras' job is to keep the knuckler in his glove, the hitting is just gravy
  17. he just wants to be the first guy to say "told you so" when Wake's inevitable 3.2 IP, 6 ER start happens....jackass
  18. you're like Bernie Mac in Oceans 11 when he moves from Atlantic City to Las Vegas for "health reasons". Thats a good movie... Welcome
  19. Welcome. interesting avatar...
  20. jumped on in '03 and made it through that year? im impressed. Welcome.
  21. no, you're just ignorant, delusional and will go to any length to rationalize any Yankee-related cause for concern
  22. unless a doctor has told Papelbon that one day his arm will cross home plate before his fastball, why the hell is he changing his delivery?
