I could agree with that. My problem was that they did nothing to address the rotation and lost Bard and Paps from the pen.

Why? Almost EVERY SINGLE long term contract looks bad at the end. So we are never going to sign a guy long term again because of how they look at the end? Lackey and Crawford will make ownership gun shy for life if you use that logic.

SFFS.... Im not saying Bard cant close FWIW. I just think his purpose is best served setting up Papelbon. Everyone took him for granted and essentially said he was washed up/not worth it. Hed look pretty damn good back there today....
