    Hey, NDfromNY, have you ever heard of relief pitcher? I mean really, if you hear the popping in the bullpen, you know you will be taken out soon.

    Scouting Report: Tall and lanky lefty. Has been compared to Orel Hershiser and Jamie Moyer. Changes speeds well and hits his spots with consistency. Fastball isn't fantastic, topping out in the mid to high 80s, but throws all of his pitches with pinpoint control. Best changeup and command in the Sox farm system. Curveball needs some work. Very mature, knows what he needs to do to prepare for each game. Very focused. Legally blind in his left eye. Wears his hat to the side to balance the lighting in his blind eye - not as a fashion statement. That is the scouting report, he is blind, so don't make fun of him.

    Yeah, Bellhorn might be pretty good, but Pedroia looks pretty good also, so Tek is right. If he is so good, call him up, use him as back up, and get him ready for next season. Although, hopefully he will produce this year.

    Still, shouldn't Schilling have a few extra weeks, but come back as a starter?

    Really, the reason that they do the shift is because he CAN'T slap the ball the other way. It is very rare if the ball does go threw the shift. I think it is actually a smart idea.

    The Yankees have a new curse in town. The curse of the Tito is hereby put on the Yankees. They are never going to win another World Series after Tito put all of his wits to the work!

    I believe that now the Yankees are cursed. Tito (Terry) Francona will be the name of this curse. How do all of you feel about this? No more Bambino, only Tito!
