  1. Left a cookie over the plate there. Don't get down 2-1 and hitters can't dial in.
  2. Curt brought the good stuff tonight. He's dealing. 5 K's
  3. KevFC, I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a single today.
  4. Eh, maybe not, but that works.
  5. I'm thinking thunder from Manny this time.
  6. I thought they were a good story in the beginning of the season, but then I listened to their broadcasters. I knew Hawk was a homer, but I'd never listened to him when the ChiSox had the best record in the AL. "We got better ________ (fill in the blank)", "We're better at _________". He's such a frontrunning prick that I want them to go down now.
  7. Here we go! Two sittin' pretty for you Rent. CAPITALIZE!
  8. I'm thinking we could use some runs right about now.
  9. Don't get cold again bats. TB is doing us a favor in Cleveland thus far; they are up 1-0. My heart says go Tribe (I'd love to see the ChiSox fall so far), but my head says we need to get into the postseason however we can. So, go Rays!
  10. Reed, the bench is beckoning. 3 K's
  11. I guess the O's decided to try a little tonight. 1-1 after Gibbons doubles in Castro, 2nd and 3rd, 1 out. Make that 2-1 on a Surhoff ground-out. Runner on 3rd, 2 down.
  12. Rent's hot bat continues.
  13. Shea, go find some pine. 2 K's
  14. Mr. Nasty, aka the Splitty, showed up tonight.
  15. Curt's velocity is looking good tonight.
  16. Jeter leadoff HR. One game O's. Can you play in one game this series?
  17. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gifBOS: RHP Curt Schilling • 7-8, 5.89 ERA in 2005 • 1-0, 9.00 ERA vs. TOR in 2005 vs. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/tor.gifTOR: LHP Gustavo Chacin • 12-9, 3.66 ERA in 2005 • 1-0, 3.27 ERA vs. BOS in 2005 Just win.
  18. That Leinart kid looks pretty good. The Jet's are 1-2. If I were them I'd think hard about not winning another game this year.
  19. If the threat is saying he is being a "traitor to his race", then I doubt it is a bigotted white guy. Sounds like a disgruntled female to me.
  20. Wake's got the ball doing the two-step today. It's dancing all over the place. I'd love for him to give us 8 or a CG so all double-dip stuff goes out the window.
  21. Catalanotto may require some Kleenex.
  22. My issue with your argument wasn't over who you picked; it was due to your inconsistency. When you are inconsistent with your evaluating criteria, you look biased. You guys started this s*** by knocking DiNardo. Henn was the example to show the pot that it was calling the kettle black. A little tit for tat. Why escalate it? Consider it dropped.
  23. I didn't even quote you when I posted "Sean Henn says hi". When there are two sides to a coin (prospective upside vs. proven record in MLB ), and you contradict yourself by picking whichever side supports the player in your team's system, then your claims of being "unbiased" will seem very suspect.
  24. The AL playoffs start on the 4th, so it would be 3 days off. These guys could all use some rest. They'll get stretched out and have some throwing sessions during that time. I doubt 3 days is enough to render them ineffective.
