  1. Almost as silly as bringing it up in the first place.
  2. Nice to see you, Linda.
  3. Master Yoda? http://blog.rondua.de/uploads/StarWars-Yoda.jpg
  4. EDIT: Let's babelfish... English to Dutch to French to Portuguese to English I like it.
  5. I should have been more clear. I was talking about the baserunner sliding away from the bag under the SS/2B to try and break the play up. You see that every game. Are they cheaters?
  6. Done, and done. Running inside the 1B line isn't cheating. Sure, it's a against the rules, but it isn't cheating. I mean, is everyone who completely misses the 2B bag (and this is literally everyone) during a DP a cheater? No, that's part of the game. And, it is done right out in the open for the umps to call. It's not like he's trying to sneak it in, like corking a bat.
  7. Hafner's a monster, but I think you have him ranked too high for a very specific reason. He never plays the field in interleague ball, so he's only good for the Utility spot on the roster.
  8. I'm flexible as long as it's not after 8:00 on a weeknight. I commute quite a ways to work and need to be there by 6:00-6:30 in the am.
  9. Watch Papelbon from week 1 of ST last year if you can find archived footage. He looked (and was) as hittable as they get. If Piniero still sucks in 2 weeks, then he isn't going to be the closer. Not earth shattering.
  10. Didnt' get to see it. Baseballchannel.tv only aired the top-halves of the inning to show Matsuzaka.
  11. That curve he threw to the 3rd batter in the second was mired in filth.
  12. Man, the glove does not move. I like his command.
  13. For those of you unaware, baseballchannel.tv - linked on the MLB mainpage - is airing the Sox vs. BC game free for all to see Matsuzaka's ST debut.
  14. You've admitted your interest in baseball is limited to the big leagues, and that's fine. Other people follow it much more in depth, and it's refreshing to see the people we've only been able to read about due to geographics. So why don't you just STFU and let people enjoy the game however they see fit?
  15. 700, you are our eyes and ears down there, so give me some feedback. Is Ellsbury as fast live as he is on Memorex? How did Pedroia look? Romero looked good on mlb.tv, what did your eyes tell you at the park?
  16. My brother just started his freshman year in HS here in FL, and I'm seriously disappointed at the level of specialization they are putting these kids through. He plays in Merritt Island, and never plays the field or hits because he's a pitcher. He's got a good stroke and plays the field well, better than a couple of the position players on the team, but he's a good pitcher, so that's all his coaches will let him do. At 15 yrs old, he should be playing both ways and not getting stuck in a specific role. He pitched the first game of the season and went 5 IP, 8 K, 2 BB, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER for the JV squad (no freshman on the varsity team at this school).
  17. Stop making sense, you are ruining everyone's rant.
  18. Spann's got some stone-hands.
  19. Yeah, in hindsight, I guess it wasn't WMP, but I couldn't see that in the .0375" screen that they reduced it to so they could show Curt's interview.
  20. You know, Curt's interview is pissing me off a bit. Show the game.
  21. Looks like JT is going to suck again.
