That tends to happen when you are getting shut out. It happens. Seriously. EDIT: Forgot about the Lowell ground-out RBI. Feels like a shutout. Point remains though.

I don't get why Lowell protected the plate on the 1-1 that was a borderline ball on the outside edge. That is a pitcher's pitch. Most of the time that's weak contact. Let that pass and hope the call goes your way. Don't protect with less than 2 strikes. The approach was horrible.

Why do you guys let Jacko try and rile you when a simple stat will shut his yap? You know he rarely looks that stuff up and since he prefers the Rectal Library. Pedroia is 3rd on the team in PPA, ahead of Manny, Youk, and Drew, guys respected for their patience. He's not a hacker.

Yeah, but he's also left a few tasty morsels middle-middle, like that pitch Wells is pissed he just missed. I've seen the glove move a lot. His command has been overhyped. He's got good stuff, but he needs some polish, which is why he should still be in AAA.
