  1. Kay is all over Lugo for that play, but the culprit is Youks IMO. That was not a tough pick and his stab at it with the backhand technique just doesn't cut it.
  2. The smarted the ball out of the park. Corer!! Cora Cora Cora!!!
  3. No. More. Starts. For. JT. End of transmission.
  4. Two no-out walks. This is why I hate JT. He can be OK when he's throwing strikes because of the movement of his pitches, but he gives it away far too often. This inning is going to hurt.
  5. Change your channel because you can't be watching the Sox/Yanks game.
  6. And Tavarez. Despite the ball washing he gets, Wang did not invent the sinker.
  7. I doubt they have any interest in Lowell. Especially with Longoria waiting in the wings. He's putting up a .299/.421/.532 line in AA right now. Tampa needs pitching and pitching only. Look at the ridiculousness of the young lineup they could field next year, even if they trade Iwamura: CF - Baldelli SS - Brignac LF - Crawford RF - Young DH - Dukes 3B - Longoria C - Navarro 2B - Upton All that's missing is a mashing 1B, and Wiggington ain't it. That's the only position they need help at, IMO.
  8. Yeah, and it's not just 10/16, but 10/16 with 6 XBH. I think Youk is the guy to sit today. Wang doesn't walk a lot of guys, Lowell's bat is hot, and Wang's only pitch tends to fade right into Mikey's kill zone. He seems to be hammering the low and in pitch and a lot of Wang's sinkers start on the outer half and move to the inner half low in the zone to righties.
  9. Why would the DRays trade him? He can play and he's cheap, which is exactly what they need.
  10. Yeah. There's really no point in having a HOF if players like Biggio don't get in.
  11. He's right. We had their throat under our boot and didn't step on it. There are no leads built in April that can't be overcome, but we could have sent them into further disarray. Didn't happen. They got a QS, some good BP work, and their closer got his s*** together. In other words, they got exactly what they needed to start in the other direction.
  12. Youk is the master of the weak pop. Wow, s***** performance from the offense...again. 3-5 need to snap out of it. This was a big game to win. No Larry Birds on this team. Nobody to pound that last nail in the coffin when they were reeling. We just let them up off the mat. Might turn things around a bit for them.
  13. That is such ********. Posada was set up over the batter's box line.
  14. Oh, Jesus. Posada was set up 8" off the plate and Farnsworth hit the glove.
  15. Mikey's been good though. Short porch one Coco.
  16. Manny is a gaping, sucking chest wound on this team right now, and I'm not to fond of Drew's new found slump. Nothing out of 3-5 lately.
  17. Hinske pops up a cookie. Our pitchers make those kind of pitches to their hitters and it's 8-0 right now. Wake up bats.
  18. Man, Dougie missed two f***ing cookies right there. Wheelhouse pitches.
  19. Leaving runners on late, booting grounders, nice to have you back ARod!
  20. Nicely done. Now go knock Bucky out of the game.
