I've been biting my toungue at the level of stupidity you display in your posts, but this I cannot let pass. Heart? Afraid? What's next, did they lose their mojo? Let me guess, they need a good clubhouse "chemistry" guy, maybe bring Millar back? Then they need to get a guy with grit and guts who is scrappy, Eckstein perhaps? Stop posting. Schlub swing results in a double from RL Cabrera. That was a foot outside and low. He swings at that and either K's or hits a weak nubber 9 times out of 10. Could have been worse, thanks for running last inning Girardi.

He's hot right now, but not as hot as Pedroia is.

Ball 3 to Abreu was a good 3-4" above the knee. I think the strikezone has the biggest impact on the outcome of the game, and it oftens appears to be of arbitrary size and shape, particularly the last two games.

Agreed Gom. Everyone gop apeshit over Tabata because some scout once said, and this was when he was like 16 or something, "Reminds me of a young Manny Ramirez". Never showed the power potential Manny did as a youngster in MiLB, and then this year up and quits on his team during a game. He wasn't that good to begin with, and now he's damaged goods. The Pirates got worked over in this deal, but they seem to like doing that for the Yankees. Didn't you guys get Wilson after Chacon's fairy dust had clearly worn off? I thought that deal was a steal too. -
Nope, but I can assemble a reasonable stretcher with a poncho and entrenching tool (provided there is forest nearby), which are both standard issue.

This would be a small upgrade on the bench, but the real benefit will be how often the benchwarmer stays seated. Uribe will be a newcomer here for only 3 months. Not an established "club guy" who has the manager's favor and has been here a few years.
