  1. If not for Victor having trouble getting the ball out of his glove, it wouldve just been a solo shot and 2 run game... now they are going to Okajima for 1.2, damn hes been used a lot this year
  2. Lester's command got the best of him tonight
  3. This is why i didnt want Tejada haha
  4. With their trade down's, the Pats have acquired two 3rd round picks, 25 and 26-- 89th and 90th overall
  5. Brandon Spikes!! Yes nice pick
  6. Good to see the HR slump ended much sooner than last years!
  7. Funny that no one complained about the offense with them scoring 15 runs in the first 2 games of the texas series. 8 of the first 15 games, they have scored 4 runs or more
  8. Hope to see at least one outside linebacker in 2nd round EDIT: Outside linebacker Jermaine Cunningham. Not bad
  9. Hey Tito had started Bill Hall against a lefty, even though Hermida had homered his last 2 games
  10. Tito likes to load his lineup with lefties against right hand starters. McDonald will probably be in the lineup when lefty Matsuz starts tomorrow
  11. I heard on weei, a report of draft picks from 2005 to opening day 2009... The Patriots had 31.7% of those draft picks still on the roster, thats 32nd in the NFL. Which definitely questions drafting capabilities
  12. Plus the Pats just gave a 3 year extension to Bodden
  13. Its time to face the lowly Orioles. Anything less than 2 wins is a joke in this series. Mike Lowell might get a start at 3rd if they need to give a day off to Beltre, his stats against Guthrie says it all Guthrie last season vs Boston in 4 games, 0-3 with a 7.24 ERA. At Fenway Park in 2 games, 0-1 with a 7.94 ERA. On the road in 16 games, 5-9 with a 5.36 ERA Lester last season vs Baltimore in 4 games, 4-0 with a 1.65 ERA. This season at home in 3 games, 0-1 with a 5.82 ERA
  14. Off the field stuff is lying to investigators... nothing crime or drug related. Something that scares me is that looking forward to next year, the only wide receivers locked up are Wes Welker (recovering from knee surgery), Julian Edelman, Darnell Jenkins, Isaiah Stanback, Brandon Tate
  15. Brady wont be screaming at Holt on the sidelines for constantly misreading routes
  16. They will send packing Scott Atchison or Scott Schoenweiss. Most likely it will be Atchison so they can keep Scho as 2nd lefty out of the pen
  17. Yay another bleeping undersized corner back? Its not like rushing the passer was a glaring need for the Pats. Last 3 years they have taken Meriweather, McKenzie, Wheatley, Wilhite, Butler, Chung and now McCourty However, I wouldve been ecstatic if they got Dez Bryant. He was there for the taking. Ill be sick to my stomach to see what kind of year he puts up BB's logic of trading down constantly for "value and upside" picks is maddening weei.com
  18. Beckett and Lester both had ERA's above 5 last year thru middle of May, with Tek catching. How come he couldnt make all stars out of Penny and Smoltz last year? Tek knows his pitching staff well, but hes not a good luck charm. V-Mart has caught 2 cy young award winners. Last year with the Sox, he mostly caught Smoltz, Penny, and Byrd. Thats why his era was up as much as it has been talked about. He did however catch for Buchholz down the stretch, who was one of the main reasons why they won the wild card
  19. Hey gom, remember tek was catching last night... and beckett gave up 7 runs
  20. This is C.J. Wilson's first career start vs Boston. Nelson Cruz is likely to get tonights game off after having hamstring fatigue Wilson last year vs Boston in 5 games, 3 saves with a 1.69 ERA. On the road this year in 2 game, 1-1 with a 2.13 ERA (3 ER in 12.2 innings) Buchholz last year vs Texas in 1 game, 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA (3 ER in 4 innings). This year at home in 2 games, 0-2 with a 2.31 ERA
  21. Damn thats odd way to break up a no hitter
