  6. 2 blown saves in last 3 games, and even the middle game was trouble for him on 1 out there were men on 2nd and 3rd but Mo was able to get out of it, getting the next 2 batters to pop up--haha that would be something 3 straight blown saves
  7. ah i think Tony G has now taken ahold of Soxie
  8. Mo is starting to look like lights on for batters right now

  10. my friend called me up and said he heard on WEEI this morning that since today's game has a right handed pitcher, Petagine seems likely to get the start, what Francona said. Obviously something's goin on, considering Millar has had success against Bonderman in the past
  11. yeah ramon vazquez wasnt missed that much by red sox nation, Alex Cora deal hasnt been much in spotlight as Tony G has obviously--but must say acquiring him was another good deal on Theo's part, when at 2nd and ss he will play some solid D and in his last 12 games has hit .313 with 2 HRs, this coming from the guy who in his 8 years has hit just 30. A good backup to have all in all
  12. Jeremi and Bradford kept Sox in the game, score wouldve been 10-3 if Tito didnt take the ball from Bradford when he was getting to ready to throw the 1st pitch of the 10th
  13. (1) duh dude I know Papi is always gonna be the DH except for interleague games and the world series (2) um Ramon Vazquez has been gone since June, traded for Cora who plays sloppily at 3rd base
  14. John Olerud has hit a HR off of todays starter, Bonderman--not know for couple more hours when the lineup is released
  15. the guy brings bad luck, look at what happened when he had chose to sit in the dugout of Sunday's game
  16. not surprised by Mo's deterioration as of late just because how can you have your star closer that he is, pitch in 9 games in the last 13 days, thats a lot wearing down for any pitcher
  17. if he were to come back earlier than he should, could mess up his shoulder even more than it is now--Wade Miller had pitched against Texas and said he went out to the mound with his arm being stiff and little bit in pain, a big oops on his part, next day put on the DL
  18. well like Sox's Wade Miller, him and Pavano should just take the rest of the season off as it is, both contributing little before being put on the DL. I do believe Sox have found their prospect Papelbon to be an upgrade over what Miller has been, Jon Papelbon is set for game 4 against the Angels and could pitch game 2 against the Tigers at Fenway. As Yankees found Aaron Small and Shawn Chacon, Pavano this season is a #5 starter compared to them
  19. maybe he could pitch during the Sox series
  20. it shouldve been no runs by Detroit, but nooo Tito wanted to give Remlinger a chance to redeem himself, haha that worked out nicely
  21. yes the Mets are looking for a 1st baseman, as much as I like Kevin Millar I'd rather see him go than Roberto Petagine. But as its looking like now he will stay with the Sox until the tense nights of October
  22. Sox now have four 1st baseman in David Ortiz, Kevin Millar, John Olerud, and Roberto Petagine
