  1. no offense Sox Fan, but hasnt Red Sox Nation been waiting since April for him to just break out and start producing?
  2. so Millar grounding into 3 double plays the last 4 games didnt hurt the offense?
  3. ok tonights game ugh i hope we see the Clement of May/June. Just a hopeful prediction, a score of 9-3, Ortiz and Tony G send out bombs
  4. just what I heard from Gordon Edes
  5. something very cool to hear from Gordon Edes. Hes thinking and hoping Remlinger will be desiganted for assignment. possible pitchers to take his place in the pen are Lenny Dinardo, Matt Perisho, or even Double A top prospect Jon Lester
  6. haha well actually according to yankee fans on the yes boards, theyd take him
  7. Gordon Edes said on a live chat on Boston.com that Dustin Pedroia is not a lock to start at 2nd base next season but will be given a chance at spring training to win the role. "Personally, Id like to see the Red Sox keep a veteran such as Graffanino on board as the starter for 2006"
  8. the game wasnt in our favor starting with the error on both parts of mirabelli throwing to tag out the runner on a ground ball throw had edgar misplay it and it went by him, then Manny in the outfield an error on his part. then it was gone when wake was out of the game, myers and remlinger had sealed the deal
  9. after he gave up the 3 run homerun to seal the deal 13-3 on 2 outs, tito kept him in there to get the final out--i was hoping to see cora get called upon (1) obviously would be better than remlindinger (2) curious to see cora pitch
  10. lets see Mike Myers in 2005 holds lefties to a .167 batting average. righties has a .367 avg against him. I thought best option was to bring in Jeremi Gonzalez at that point who has held righties to a 242
  11. haha i once was watching a yankee game back when my class had a field trip to New York City, i think it was against the Twins. "on a 1-2 out Jeter hits a bomb to left field, it might be, it could be, See Yaaa-and um Jeter has just been robbed by a leaping Torri Hunter"--I was laughing my ass off at that point
  12. The Rally killer, a disgrace to wear a Red Sox uniform
  13. Lets see in his first 5 games with the Red Sox has pitched 4 2/3 innings with a f***ing ERA of 21.25!!! giving up 14 Runs on 12 Hits, 5 walks, and 4 Ks but the Ks really dont mean anything
  14. yankees are probably paying off remlinger, since sox is paying off embree to blow leads and throw meat pitches
  15. putting him out of the lineups that we would like to see, its still staying on the same subject, with him headed towards Mark Bellhorn's path.
  16. He's just mad cuz he was the "Terrell Owens" end of last season, hes an ******* and wants teh 24/7 media coverage on him--Im hoping for our secondary to be hitting him hard and intercepting his would be catches come opening day
  17. Alex Cora was warming up in the bullpen when Remlinger was on the mound, strange but would take Cora up there against Vlad in a sec than The Alan Embree throwing John Halamma clone hasbeen that he is
  18. should be the lineup: 1) Johnny Damon cf 2) Edgar Renterria ss 3) David Ortiz dh 4) Manny Ramirez lf 5) Jason Varitek c 6) Gabe Kapler/Trot Nixon rf 7) Tony Graffanino 2b 8) Bill Mueller 3b 9) John Olerud/Roberto Petagine 1b
  19. oh sorry didnt realize, yeah it is best thing to do. Youk had a good season backing up Mueller in 2004. I just hope Pedroia wont get what Youk has gotten this season, the yo yo effect
  20. well you gotta admit this is "really something" because out of all players who was Tito most loyal to and defended? ol' Bellhorn. Besides that there's already talks on NESN that Petagine and Olerud will start sharing time at 1st base more as Millar stays in his slump, nearing 200 at bats without a HR, Edgar has about same ammount of at bats but still he's of course been producing more so not that much of an issue,
  21. why not for 2006 have Tony G sign a season stay on as the starter 2nd baseman, pedroia can play backup and learn from the veteran that Tony G is
  22. its already been highly indicated hes going to be gone after this season anyway, this is his last season of a 3 year contract. look for Sox to most likely go for Aubrey Huff in the off season.
  23. watch out NY because Cleveland is coming up, with todays win only trail Yanks by 1 game in the wild card standings
  24. well im sure jeter will welcome him with open arms
