    that is not an option right now sizzlin22. so we just need to deal with schilling right now. i think he will adjust and kick ass before its all said and done. on the other side of things. maybe he will never thow 96 again and his career is all but over. but that cant be determined by one outing as "schillingthenatural" said in one of the toughest spots any pitcher let alone one that hasnt pitched in months.

    obiously the yankees have the edge in the closer category for the series but look at the starters from here on out. unit is all you have. if the yankees have a lead in the eighth or ninth in either of the other two games the sox should be ashamed of themselves. (unless of course the game is like 10-11 or something) it shouldnt matter if its may or leiter for sunday. besides if the marlins are sending him down for pitching terrible in the NL then i cant wait to see how he does against our lineup at fenway.

    i like arroyo where he is at right now. if mueller makes that throw yesterday maybe arroyo has the win today. he keeps us in most games. he is not making alot of money comparatively. that being said if we could use him in a deal for burnett then im all ears.

    i say give schilling a chance. you have to give him at least a week to adjust to the new role. besides who the hell else is going to be out there right now? embree?-joke. timlin has not been good lately. i dont see any other alternatives right now. i agree. 80-90% schilling is the best we have for now. he will adjust, he is too good not to.

    damon said that schill doesnt need to go to the pen. He said that we are overreacting when we are still in first without schilling. I just think damon thinks we are alright now and dont need to risk schillings comeback to the rotation longer than it already should be.

Nixon knew he should have caught that ball that ended up a two run shot. if thats caught arroyo only gives up 3 earned runs. Our bats usually on a daily basis can make up for three earned runs

    hey yankee fan quit filming your gay porn and come to rescue your yankers from the mighty devil dogs. they are getting killed...............that being said. i still believe it will come down to the last month in the east between the sox and yanks. although if schill gets rolling in the next couple weeks...schill, clement, miller, arroyo, and wells/wakefield could get scary for the rest of the league if they all stay healthy. and that was some clutch hitting and pitching (from foulke) last night. hell of a win. keep it rollin boys!!!!!!

    ill never forget what pedro gave us for the run he had in boston. the anticipation before the game. how many k's he was going to ring up. outdooling clemens the traitor. he was red sox baseball while he was there, but im glad he wont be in boston at the end of his career. i would hate to see pedro go 10-10 in 2008 for the sox. that would be tough to watch. so lets just say good luck to petey and heres to clement for the al cy young in 05!

    manny is one player that hits 300, 40, 130. i dont want to "survive" without him. i want to kill the yankees and o's and win the division the next 3 years

    if this was texas yes, unload his $20 mill salary, but we have plenty of money to keep him around and fill in the other holes this team has. at least untill his last year of this deal. then maybe get something for him that last year instead of letting him walk

    i cant believe how many of you would "dump" manny if someone would take him on. yea his .250 average is not helping the situation but it will go back up. facing manram and papi back to back is as bad as it can get for any opposing pitcher. there is nobody you could bring in to replace those numbers he puts up every year. very consistent. .300, 40, 130.

    i think its now time to get serious about another starter. everyone but clement is so inconsistent its so frustrating. and my little brother could get more outs than embree. what a roller coaster ride this year.
