  1. Tied at six, bottom of the 9th.
  2. Yeah, Posada may have a case but he should've kept his cool. Credit to Rodney.
  3. Believe in the Broncos. Travis Henry is tailor made for the Broncos system and they've got an actual defensive coordinator.
  4. Yeah, he did. The Tigers are braver than I would be given the situation.
  5. Pleeease be pitching around him...
  6. Oooh boy... that's gotta hurt.
  7. The AVG and OBP aren't too much better against Righties bu the HR's and RBI's... wow. Farnsworth for the eighth.
  8. Joba mowed through them with ease.
  9. Nope, I moved out to Florida here at the beginning of the month -- and since I still don't really know anyone out here I don't have anything else to do on a Friday night, I'm watching the game.
  10. When you walk Pudge, you know you're having some problems. edit: 6-3... Raja looks like s***.
  11. Come on, boys... let's make that 30-3 game look like it was a nail biter!
  12. 3-1, looking good in the second time through the lineup.
  13. Good. I love Reggie but he'd have been one hell of a hypocrite if he had returned with the Celtics.
  14. Papelbon is throwing in the pen.
  15. I played one year of football. It was at a brand new school, all freshmen and sophomores and our team was majorly undermanned. They had to put me at TE, which I liked, but I was undersized for the position build-wise... just tall and skinny. Despite lacking speed, I could hold my own catching passes with just about anyone, and blocking kids my age, but up against upperclassmen D-Lineman I never stood a prayer. Last game of the season I got my clock cleaned pretty good with a helmet to the jaw and got a mild concussion -- all the other TE's on the team were hurt so after a little while I came back in the game -- anyways, my coach comes up after the game and blames the loss on me (we lost by, like, 40 like every other f***ing game we played) so I told him to go f*** himself and quit. I hate that I had to quit but that guy was just a world class dickhead and I was having nothing to do with him.
  16. Oh alright, I was wondering what was going on. That's what I figured it was for but I wasn't sure. Made it kind of a hassle to get to the game but given the circumstances it's not a problem. Thank god for garmin, though -- that thing's a life saver.
  17. Ocala. I'll be heading to Tampa in about an hour or so. Left way early for last night's game which ended up being a good thing because Interstate 275 was closed for some reason... when I drove by the entrance ramp after we detoured a bit, all I could see was a line of police cars with their lights on driving.
  18. We've got my "going to the game mojo" working for us, which has yet to fail them. Granted, last night was my first game... Just win tonight, guys. I have a good feeling about what's going to happen tonight in Anaheim!
  19. If he gets two years in prison, what type of suspension do you think he'll get? At LEAST one year (note: I mentioned that it's a 40 year max sentence in some states to show exactly how serious this whole thing is). That puts him out of the League until 2010 at the earliest. That puts him at around 30 or 31. He's never been a proven winner, and it's not easy to overhaul an entire system to fit him -- that would take a couple of years -- which is a HUGE investment in somebody whos onfield success is almost capped off by a first round win in Green Bay in his first year as a starter in which he played decent, and not great. The NFL has all the reason in the world to suspend him for more than a year, if not permanently.
