Wasn't there a point before these last 3 games where his season was starting to look up? I really wish it was happening to anyone but him. For whatever reason he's one of the Yankees I hate the least.

Like I said... if we play just a tad bit above .500 ball for the rest of the season, the Yankees record from here on out would have to be 24-8... 24-7 if they can't come back from this deficit tonight. That's more than just getting hot... that would be the Yankees completely catching fire. And to play .500 with our schedule the rest of the way, I'd argue that we'd have to be struggling a bit.

No it's not over. However, it's pretty damn close. The magic number is... *consults Kilo's sig*... 25, correct? If the Red Sox go 16-15 over their last 31 games, that means the Yankees have to go 24-8 over their last 32 just to tie.

Pirates took 3 of 4. And yeah, cheering for this team does drive me crazy. It's reassuring to know they're still young, though.

This Papelbon kid's good. This whole series felt like Groundhog's Day. 7.5 with a day off heading into the Yankees series. And with the Yankees throwing Mussina tomorrow against Verlander, I like our chances of it being 8.

Watching the White Sox is like watching a bad Little League team. Still impressed by the way we've slaughtered 'em, though.

Well, I hate Hawk too because of the "put in on the board" one... but he really says "call the ball, Maverick?", cause that's the one I chuckled at. I can't stand Hawk either.
