I disagree. He could've sent a strong message to the team and he failed to do so. You cheated? Oh well, you're a team leader so we'll forgive you. The message he should've sent was "You do anything to make this organization look bad and you'll be looking for a new place to play." -- the fact that Harrison's a team leader would just strengthen the fact that no player is above the team. How much does this hurt Harrison's image as the team leader? If I'm a Patriots player and Harrison's getting on me about a missed tackle or what have you then I'm looking at him and saying "Hey, we're not all willing to cheat to get to where we want to be" and taking everything he tells me with a grain of salt. It is absolutely incredible how much sports fans are able to forgive and forget when a player who messes up either plays for their team or is a nice guy.

That's all legal. The only time it poses a problem is when it takes place well after the fact, which happened... once that you know of, probably. When Mike Shanahan was facing criticism for this he opened his press conference by showing a video of highlights of every other team in the league cut blocking. Don't hate Denver's system just because it's brilliant. By the way, reread my original post... I never insulted the Patriots organization... I just question why anybody would want this guy with a growing list of character flaws on their team.

I mean... not even if you had pointed out that I've lived in Florida for all of three weeks and am a Denver Broncos fan, and a very vocal one at that. I've certainly made no secret of the fact that I'm a Broncos fan, anyway. Secondly... he cheated. It's one thing to be fed up with the situation you're in (Corey Dillon and be vocal about it -- I'd have loved Dillon on my team), but I don't want guys that take plays off, play dirty, or cheat on my team. Personal preference. The guy's just a world class jackass and there's no denying that. I'm a Broncos fan and I'm the last person you'd see defend Romanowski. And don't start with the "hands down best organization" crap because the Broncos are always regarded as one of the classiest organizations in the league -- and they've never played second, third, or fourth fiddle in Colorado. Besides, your team can't beat my team. And by the way... not that it matters but giving Brady a chance was the absolute last thing the Patriots wanted. They didn't give him the job in training camp, their pro-bowl QB went down... he was on the Patriots roster as a backup. You want to talk about giving a late round pick a chance? Terrell Davis who won the job in the preseason. Or any other Denver RB.

I think playing a true freshman against this defense would have disaster written all over it. Then again, the current arrangement doesn't appear to be working either...

Eh, the offense looked terrible against GT last year. They'll be fine. Keep in mind that the Georgia Tech defense is extremely good. I think they started Demetrius Jones for a couple reasons... the fact that Notre Dame didn't name their QB until late made Tech prepare for each of them -- and I think a mobile QB is probably what Weis figured they were least prepared for. Also, Weis probably figured that starting Jones might allow them to exploit GT's speed and aggressiveness. I just started watching but obviously it doesn't look like it's working. Ugh... fumble. His second of the game?

I watched the pregame of the Va Tech game. It was nice. The game didn't interest me much in the short time I watched it, though. Then I ended up finding the Colorado State/Colorado game on FSN so I'm watching that. The problem with the opening weekend of the college football season is that there's so much buildup and so few good matchups. CU sucks and I couldn't be happier about it!

How can anybody like Rodney Harrison? He's a dirty player and now he's a cheater. I sure as hell wouldn't want him on my team.
