Because they weren't winning the game. I wondered why Bard wasn't in there too, and Wheeler is part of the "winning the game" pen too... The decision really comes down to using Oki and I don't think the entire bullpen or the "revamping" process are to blame.

Brian Fuentes career vs. BOS: 0-1, 6.75 ERA. 6.2 IP. 2.700 WHIP. Sox batters are .355/.487/.484/.971 against him. Is it predictive? No. Will I shut down the ol' TV and computer, and go to bed before watching? No.

GUYS! Games like this happen! What we should be frustrated about is a 6 game losing streak to start the season, not a 1-0 nailbiter against a good pitcher on a west coast swing. Lackey looked great, Anderson looked great. Things are okay.
