  1. I'm going to the Met-Dodger game. Pedro's pitching tomorrow. If the Dodgers have to lose, it better be a no-no or a 20 K performance by Pedro. If not, then f*** him. I hope we kill him. But seriously, I hope it'll be a pitchers' duel. Nomar facing Pedro...interesting.
  2. Haha, I just realized that his first name IS Lastings. At first, I was like, "What the f*** does he mean by 'lasting' Milledge?" (I was thinking the 's' was a typo)
  3. Damn, Erin Andrews is f***ing gorgeous. Just sayin'.
  4. Well, it's not like Webb needs that much run support right now (unlike Russ Ortiz of 2003). He has an ERA of just above 2.
  5. 7. The Mavericks have won the WCF. Yo rsr, I'm rooting for the Heat, though so Shaq could stick a non-Laker championship ring to the Laker fans' asses.
  8. Wow, this team just has a great mixture of vets and young studs. Gotta love the farm system.
  9. I've always wondered why you've never requested for a thread title change, rsr. "Official 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread" or something like that.
  10. A mod has to fix it. Oh, and happy birthday to Empire.
  11. I'm not sure if you are hating on Webb, rsr, but it sounds like it. Webb has a lower ERA. And he is known for ground outs, not strike outs. That's why Pedro has a much better K/9. He will give up more hits than Pedro, no doubt about that because groundballs don't automatically mean they are right at the fielders. I hope he does lower his BAA a bit, though. Give credit where it's due. But I agree with you, Pedro does deserve the Cy Young Award right now but to say that Webb is only a candidate because he has more wins is pathetic.
  12. Article on the Babe's former teammate The last line is absolute gold.
  13. Gotta love female Oiler fans. http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/8634/oilersgirls8um.gif And for good measure... http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/4480/oilgirl4br1iw.gif
  14. Just got the shirt today. Thanks again, SFOC!

  16. I'm glad that I only root for one team in the same city for each sport. But for baseball, I have to admit I kinda like the A's. But they are no way my "2nd favorite team."
  17. Thank you, Mets. I needed a D'Back loss.
  18. Noooooooooooooo. Not the goddamn Padres??? EDIT: BAM, there goes the no-no.
  19. s***! I should've been more specific. "7 hits for the Jays off Clement."

    NL West

One thing's for sure: the division won't be as atrociously bad as last year. This year, it will take 90 wins to win it.
  21. I'm just glad ESPN cancelled his "show." Does anyone know the whopping ratings of that?
  22. Aaron Rowand
  23. Nice. Finally, ESPN can stop giving him a head.
  24. The Ducks are done!!! Quick goalie question: How do you determine thw W-L record for a goalie in a game. Let's say the starter left the game with the game tied, then the back-up finished with a win. Who gets thw win? Is it like baseball, too?
