    I have a suggestion for tonight's gamethread. Looking back at last season, it seems that the longest winning streaks happened when we didn't try tomake a snarky or fun gamethread title. Tonight, let's just stick with "Texas" and see if that works at all.

    Even though it makes me feel like I just had sex with Hitler, I have to agree with Jacko on this one. As far as these two games against the Jays, Pineda and Tanaka impressed. I don't think it's necessarily an indicator of incredible things to come, but it's not all that different than the game that Lester lost to open the season. He pitched well, he just got no offensive support. Where my opinion diverges from Jacko's is that I think it's far more likely that the Red Sox lineup will provide that support on a regular basis moving forward. The only time the Yankees lineup will be whole is when they're all lined up outside of Hometown Buffet at 5PM.

    Clay Buchholz makes his first start of the season in the 5-spot, as a precaution due to last year's injury. He squares off against the guy who tripped over his own feet on national television yesterday afternoon. This really shouldn't be a contest. Thanks to a lack of timely hitting, BTR and UN? mojo were scrapped a bit before their time. Now, we are mixing it up and going with YOTN mojo instead, to try and fire off a winning streak of at least six or seven games. I think they can do it. I know they can do it. The Brewers are the fourth-best team in their own division. We don't need to show them what it's like to play a great team, they have to play the Cardinals, Pirates, and Reds 54 times a year. But we can show them what it's like to play the goddamn motherf***ing WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS. And what we should show them is that it f***ing hurts. Three Red Sox players will go deep tonight. Buchholz will pitch brilliantly into the 7th inning, and the Sox will win this f***ing game. YOTN mojo is a go.
