    Personally, I would love to see the divisions abolished. Go back to having two leagues, each with 15 teams. Keep the LDS and LCS before the WS, but instead of division winners and a WC, the top four teams by record are the playoff teams. It would eliminate the obnoxiousness of things like the 2005 Padres at 81-81 making it into the postseason while a team with 90 wins misses out completely because another team in their division won 96.

    Also, I know this doesn't mean anything, but I thought it was a fun tidbit: Bogaerts hit his first career HR against the Yankees in 2013, but that was it for the season. When he started his first full season the next year, his first two HRs of that season were against...Chris Sale and Rick Porcello.

    Bogaerts may have had a HR today, and it was awesome, but he's basically been an automatic out since the beginning of July. He's been struggling, and this one HR does not change that. I hope he gets his swing back, but right now today is the aberration based on the last two months of his play. He had 13 hits in July, and 21Ks. Only three of his hits went for extra bases. That's not the usual Bogaerts.

    No matter what your age, what year it is, or what team is batting, watching a Yankees pitch being deposited in the seats with power and authority is just viscerally exciting. It's like watching someone who cut you off in traffic get pulled over, or watching the video of Buzz Aldrin punching that moon-landing conspiracist. Seeing a douchebag get exactly what they deserve is almost sublime.

    Okay everyone, until YZ responds to my PM and E-mail, here's what I suggest: Keep an eye on the bottom of the homepage that lists "Most Recent Members". Pre-emptively add each new member to your ignore list as soon as you see a name appear, and whenever I am online, I'll check their posts to let you guys know if they're legitimate or not.

    No, just some guy who apparently had some issue with another person on the site who was themselves banned long before he showed up. Guys, I'm sorry about all the images, but as I keep having to say, I can't be on all the time. The best I can do is get rid of everything as soon as I do log on. In the meantime, the best I can suggest is to just put the guy on your ignore list once the first images go up and wait for me to be online again. I've PMed YZ again, hopefully I'll hear from him soon.
