    Also I would like to remind everyone that I am going to nine consecutive Sox games, and I am a rediculous 14 or 15 and 0 when attending Sox games.

    My prediction: Sox win 7-2. Masterson pitches 6, gives up 2 runs. Pedroia and Baldelli go deep. Lowell and bay go 2 or 3 for 4. Bard or Saito throw 3 scoreless between them. Ichiro triples in both runs for the Mariners. Nick Green makes at least one stellar defensive play. At least two of these three things happen in this gamethread: Kilo says 'Julio Lugo doesn't make that play', a Yankees fan will only post when the Sox are losing, tied, or in trouble, and SOTK yells at a Sox pitcher by beginning with words and ending with keyboard mashing (ex: MAsterson throw strikes you f***ereorueofjosdskdfkdgskj)

    Unfortunately, no. I can't make pasta for ten PM games on work nights because I leave at 1030.

    I AM PSYCHED. I just got an e-mail from Ami's father...they have some family in the Minneapolis area, and his company gives out Sox tickets every year. For my birthday, he's bringing me with him and his friend to the Toronto games at Fenway on the 20-21, then all three Fenway games vs. the Mets, and then flying me with him and her mother to their family visit in Minny and we're going to ALL FOUR GAMES. This means I will be going to nine, count 'em, NINE CONSECUTIVE RED SOX GAMES, FIVE of them at FENWAY f***ING PARK. The best part is I don't even feel guilty because he got all the Fenway games for free and the Minny games were cheap. I am wicked super amazingly awesomely wicked blindingly excited.

    I hate the As because they are the single most boring team in Major League Baseball. They have nothing. No character, no excitement, no players with personalities. The closest they have to some sort of interesting person is Jason f***ing Giambi, and that's only this season. They bore the hell out of me. I know that hitting isn't everything, but they take not hitting bombs or scoring runs to a whole new level. It's like watching an entire team of pitchers.

    The Rockies are my NL team, and because my father's family is from the Pittsburgh area I always keep an eye on the Pirates. Kind of funny because I also tend to root for the Royals, but not the Rangers...so I'm almost the same as msubulldogs, but for different reasons. I pull Rockies because Helton is one of my all-time favorite players, and Royals because George Brett is as well, and I would love to see them be great again. However...I love baseball in general and there are only three teams I actually dislike. The Yankees, the Cardinals, and the As.

    I've been to Shea, Old Yankee Stadium, PNC Park, Camden Yards, and Rogers Centre. Rogers is a shithole.

    True, but my statement and the theory behind it is based off of the assumption that the average size of gas giants compared to rocky planets would be significantly larger. Also, I was really thinking more along the lines of effect, where a gas giant would contribute to the explosion depending on the chemicals, the average rocky planet would just create shrapnel for about a tenth of a second before it was vaporized.
