  1. There are way too many people with "Red Sox" in their usernames to keep straight.
  2. Wait, no, I will admit in this instance I was wrong. It wasn't RSFFL, it was RedSoxNC84, that was my bad.
  3. The last time I strongly suggested that BTR make the GT to get things back on track, you started it.
  4. Yeah, Ted never voted for Lincoln! He considered it but had already decided to never vote again after his first time, when his candidate died after only 30 days in office and that jerk John Tyler took over. (Fun fact. John Tyler, who was president in the 18goddamn40s, still has living grandchildren. Not great-great or great-grandchildren, just grandchildren. Look it up if you don't believe me!)
  5. The Rays lose to a team that they should have beaten to a pulp, in extra innings, on a SF by a guy who is eligible for both AARP and the ice-floe treatment. The Sox need to take advantage and are 1-1 and facing a team in a third game that hasn't lost a series in it's last 18 tries. Sox starter pitches a CG and gives up 3 hits and one run. Three Sox hit home runs. This might be the best game of the year in terms of timing.
  6. Best game the Sox have gotten from a starter this season since Lester's CG SHO against the Rays.
  7. Oh, well, a teenage boy in a Red Sox shirt in Connecticut. That will narrow it down considerably!
  8. You should go to the Big E. Biggest regional fair on the East Coast and it's f***ing awesome. It's starting soon, too.
  9. Yeah, I won't. For some reason I feel like walking around a small-town fair asking every teenage boy "Do I know you from the Internet?" could end really badly for me.
  10. Gameday put the landing spot of that HR almost off of the map inset, haha.
  11. Well I know when your town's fair is, because I try to go every year, so I'll just go every day
  12. Well, now I know about it, so I'm going to be there.
  13. I used to dislike country music, but the last year or so I have done a complete 180 and now enjoy it. It's not exactly Beethoven, but most of the songs are catchy and easy to sing along with. One of the problems I've always had with music is the songs that I have to look up the lyrics to because they're so fast or the singer sounds like they're in the middle of brushing their teeth. Country music is easy to follow and likable for me.
  14. I'm only on Gameday, but I keep seeing "Jake Peavy lines out to..."
  15. It would certainly cut down on your mom's gas mileage.
  16. I could have sworn you mentioned Manchester.
  17. My sense of decency is what demands it for me.
  18. Oh, you are not from the town I thought you were, then. I must have confused you with another CT poster.
  19. I have. Detroit at the very least has an internet connection, reliable indoor plumbing, and at least a couple convenience stores that haven't closed yet. I think a goat farm at the top of a Bolivian mountain probably has none of those things, plus there are goats and those things are f***ing terrible. They smell like the Jersey Turnpike and they sound like someone is using a bag full of cats to beat a vuvuzela player to death.
