  1. Because of his money or his wife? Or Both?
  2. What did Trump say? I didn't catch it...
  3. Horribly sad, and understandable that he had his mind elsewhere.
  4. Yeah but these two calls were CORRECTED. The White Sox/Angels Game 2 was not corrected. I only want the crucial calls to be right.
  5. You don't ever want them to. Though sometimes it looks like it doesn't it?
  6. Pettite should bring it tomorrow in the possible clincher.
  7. 'Stros win!
  8. Taveras is VERY fast
  9. Look man, I was just doing what you did to someone else when they said that about Papelbon, thats all.
  10. I think by "Overrated" he means with his bat. True though he is one of the best defensive first baseman in baseball.
  11. That's very unnecessary, you haven't won the World Series yet. Like people already said, the Yankee fans on this board are good people, no need for this s***. Worry about your own team and your own rival. Until the Yankee fans on this board bash your team or you personally, shut the f*** up dude, your s*** is really getting old. :thumbdown :thumbdown
  12. Would you still want Soriano if this trade was made?
  13. I thought you said don't annoint someone before their proven. (You said that about Jonathan Papelbon)
  14. True, BUT a call shouldn't lead to the winning play. Regardless of how he pitched (Game 2, I haven't seen tonights game, after game 2 I lost interest), It lead to the winning play, at least go to extras.
  15. Yeah, dominance is definately what he has. He has experience in closing games, Definately wouldn't mind seeing a combo of him, Timlin and Foulke/Hansen. Sorta like the Dodgers had it a few years back, after the 7th "it was over..." Dreifort in the 7th, Mota in the 8th and Gagne in the 9th.
  16. Valverde...WOW. Talk about a bullpen upgrade. Thats VERY unlikely (aptly mentioned "Schilling won't be traded..." etc.) Watching him when he's pissed, it's almost like game over. He reminds me of Carlos Zambrano, by his mood dictates how he throws. I saw Jose close the game against the Cubs, and he K'd Lee (looked foolish), Aramis Ramirez, and I think Burnitz . He has serious stuff. Intersting proposition.
  17. I'm saying what I heard. OK, good I'm glad you feel that way, its the "RED SOX NATION." Yeah I loved Kellerman, even knowing him being a Yankee fan. I got a great laugh everyday watching him on his shows. What the hell was in ESPN's and FSN's minds when they didn't keep him? He was what kept ATH afloat (IMO)
  18. A better phrase for "so-and-so won't be traded..." is "We would have to give an arm and a leg for him." That's an interesting idea. The Phillies love the guy, hes a great POWER hitter, and is in their future plans. Would take alot to get him, he would be a HUGE upgrade over Millar, and would love to see him in a Red Sox uniform. His only knock is his K rate. Power hitters strike out though. Him behind Manny or Tek, would be INSANE. But he's a stretch in my mind. Nice idea though.
  19. Would you rather have Tim McCarver?
  20. No thanks. Buy Amare a sufficient knee and I'll feel better.
  21. According to YOU.
  22. I used to LOVE that show when Max Kellerman was on there, he made it funny. And well I still watched after he left, but I started getting sick of Mariotti, and Paige for that matter and I started watching PTI more. I know how much Mariotti bugs me with his bandwgoning stats and arguments. I can't even begin to fathom how much he bugs the Chicago fans (of ANY team).
