    Kobe's nice but as last year proved, he needs help and Phil Jackson can't suit up for the Lakers, so IMO the Lakers will be riding backseat to the Clippers for at LEAST one more year.

    Shaqs out for 2-4 weeks. Sprained ankle, it looked real bad in slow-mo and with that weight, his down time could lean more towards 4 weeks. And he left the arena Thursday night on crutches. So its not looking good for the Heat in the next month or so

    A few games on the slate tonight... Cleveland @ Toronto 7:00 EST New Jersey @ Miami 7:30 EST Utah @ Charlotte 7:30 EST L.A. Clippers @ Minnesota 8:00 EST San Antonio @ Chicago 8:30 EST Not a bad bunch of games, the Nets Heat game will be exciting and could possibly be a playoff matchup to decide the East later down the road, if Shaq returns healthy and plays the rest of the season injury free. The Clippers game should be a dandy with Good Ol' Sam Cassell coming to the Target Center as a Clipper, not a Timberwolf. Should be fun to hear his ovation. And should be a pretty good game too. Oh, and go Bulls. Anyone playing the Spurs are my friends for that night.

    Durazo is nice but he plays alot of DH for the A's. We don't need another DH, we have the best at the position. And plus someone said his defense is not great. Interesting gut though...who next jimmycarter? Eric Chavez... LOL. What happened to getting Chad Tracy?

    Good luck finding it. Unless you taped it personally I don't think (I could be wrong) it was produced. I assume you have the ALCS and WS on DVD...? Thats available for like $80 bucks now at alot of places. MLB.com, amazon.com, etc. Good luck and if you do find it let us know.

    Sox Fan on Cape you are truly amazing and are a wonderful giving man. This took me awhile to figure out because I hadn't really thought about what I want, but I finally figured it out. I would like tickets to a Suns game. I went last night and I had the time of my life, and it's been too long between my visits to AWA (America West Arena).     Damn right, I was there. The place was electric all night and it felt like a playoff game. I'm very hoarse and got home late, and was sleepy through my two classes today oh well it was worth it, and I'm definately going to more games this year, I haven't been since the year before last, before last night. Oh yeah, f*** high priced tickets, I had to buy mine ($110.00) while my sister's fiance got his two that we're right next to mine (from his company's corporate office in California) free. He payed for my dinner at the Lexus club though, so I didn't burn too much money.

    I think you would deal with a guy who hit 45 HR's and drove in 144. It's nothing new, this is what, the 4th story of him "wanting to be dealt" from the all-star game on? LMAO, he's staying. I thought that was funny though, at the end about Ortiz motioning to Andruw Jones. Interesting thought. Manny would be MY personal first choice but Jones would be REAL nice to get a hold of.

    No hidden meaning. Joe Garagiola left the job and they need one. Who better than an assistant to one of the best out there? This could make a trade EASIER but who knows. Oh and to the Lyon comment, I personally hope that NEVER EVER happens. He was overworked by the worst manager in the NL, Bob Melvin and was hurt for basically the rest of the season after May. If the Red Sox wanted anyone to close for them from the D'Backs it should be Valverde. Dominant stuff, FIERY demeanor on the mound and has experience closing. Another possibility would be Greg Aquino, but I would take Valverde over him anyday because Aquino is inconsistent and we wouldn't need that from a reliever/closer. I think everyone is sick of that.
