  1. You probably heard it while you watched the game but the ball has to be in/touching above the cylinder otherwise it's a no-call. Only reason Mensah-Bonsu was on the rim was because he didn't want to fall on Nelson. I got a little heated when I saw the play live but I realized that he was only on there because he didn't want to hurt Nelson.
  2. Double standard...I knew it. READ MY POSTS! They are going to play DIFFERENT positions in the NBA. Redick will play the 2 and Morrison will play the 3. And its Redick ONE "D" And your saying you wouldn't draft one of the best shooters in the last 30 years JUST because of Duke players "track record"? LMAO
  3. I have a question for everyone whos been hating on JJ's "Lack of athleticism"... I was perusing on everyone's favorite draft site http://www.nbadraft.net and I see that they say Adam Morrison has a lack of athletic ability, yet you all say he will be a top 3 pick (so do they). BUT, Redick will fall due to that? Isn't that a double standard? I mean s*** think about all the 3's in the NBA that would guard Morrison; Marion, LeBron James, Carmelo, McGrady, Desmond Mason, Jason Richardson, Tayshaun Prince, Rashard Lewis, Richard Jefferson, Ron Artest. So like JJ falters due to lack of athletic ability, yet Morrison thrives at a position where athletic ability means a HELLUVA lot more. Please explain, and also Morrison has a lack of speed. Again important. Please explain this double standard.
  4. Welcome
  5. Do you EVER go by anything other than articles and what a certain website says? I guess you believe everything you read then huh? Dude, he's a shooter and an improving ball handler...look back to him as a sophmore and freshman...he couldn't handle it at all. Now look at him, improved ball handling skills, more confidence in taking it to the hoop, and just all around better. What evidence can you show that says he won't improve even more and become a great ball-handler? There is none, but you can look all you want. And your telling me that if you have a top 5 pick and your Danny Ainge your passing on JJ Redick (theres only 1 D in his name) to take someone else, only because you read somewhere that he's not as athletic as other 2's in the NBA?
  6. He had two free throws. But he had no field goals.
  7. Do you ever have anything positive to say? :thumbdown
  8. Probably one of the two. It kinda depends on what team has the pick. With Morrison, his size and ability makes him able to play the 3 and 2. Redick, while he is immensely talented, at 6'4" could realistically only play the 2. So I could see either one.
  9. Thats great for me, but if Tuesday's what its gonna be I guess thats cool, I'll just pre-rank my players.
  10. I f***ed up on the deadline so I'm not in anything. I can pick whoever the hell I want. But honestly, I can see all four making it. But w/e, in the end all that matters is that Duke will be cutting the nets down for their 4th championship under Coach K.
  11. WOW. That's amazing. Unbelieveable. Amazing art-work. Fantsatic Job See Red. You look like you could make it big one day in the art world.
  12. I like how Dukes region worked out, should be a fun region, and its evident who I have winning that one. The Oakland region is a good one, look out for a few possible darkhorses, Marquette could pull a few games out of Tom Creans hat especially with a player like Steve Novak. I got Memphis here. The Washington region, has 3 great matchups if everything goes right. Uconn/Illinois in the Sweet 16 and the winner of that game against UNC in the Elite 8. I see the Huskies getting this, and we have a trend. The Minneapolis region, Nova resides as the 1 seed. Scary for them though because they might not have Ray at 100%. I don't see any problems for them in the first two rounds but in the Sweet 16, they could possibly play BC, and could lose. Probably won't and will win the region. The final four; all #1 seeds. Duke beats Memphis and Uconn beats Nova. Duke plays Uconn and wins. #4 for Coach K at Duke.
  13. Any damn day but next Tuesday...I got plans. So what will happen...the Computer will auto pick for me?
  14. Yup. Exactly. They treat games like a social event. They don't give a s*** half the time. The only people at Suns games who care are guys like Robert Sarver (the owner, lol he BETTER care, and he was the only guy who is standing up during the game trying to pump the crowd up.) and tonight half the courtside seats were empty. I was like WTF??? My dad pointed that out to me. If only they weren't like $1000 a pop here, they would be worth it.
  15. Well I had my license, but we went together, to save gas I guess and because I don't like ever drive to the arena, and my brother-in-law does so he knew the best way to get there. Oh well, I stayed the whole time tonight, and will at every other game I go to for the rest of my life unless like my arm is falling off or something catastrophic happens.
  16. Yeah, see I'm so used to putting stuff off that it wouldn't bother me much and I seem to work well under pressure and in procrastinating positions so I would just sacrifice the sleep for the game. But I see where your coming from. Grades are important.
  17. Exactly. I agree totally. The only time I had to leave early was when I didn't drive and my sister and her husband were having a fight and I had to bail with like 1:45 left in the second overtime on opening night against Dallas. (I dropped $110 bucks for my ticket) but I still had a great time. I told them a few days later...next time we (the three of us) go to a game, I'm driving seperate.
  18. Yeah I guess when you look at it like that, it was worth it, and with gas prices these days, any money you can get you should take. At least your positive about it. If it was me, I would still go, put my paper off, and figure out a way to get gas money between now and next weekend.
  19. But you know what irritated me about the game...people were leaving early with like 2 or 3 minutes left. I was like "WHAT IS THIS?!?!?" We were winning but they left assuming it was in the bag, and I was like if you don't appreciate the game enough, give me your season tickets and I'll get there an hour early, stay the WHOLE time and leave an hour after the game is done.
  20. Wait was that the Nuggets game he said was going to? You probably will end up regretting not going...I'm pretty sure I remember you flipping out because you didn't go to a game earlier this year and it was a great one.
  21. Thats hardcore. Basketball owns. I love it, its amazing, and going to the games is even more amazing.
  22. The Suns WIN!!! What a fun game. I was screaming my head off...KG and Trenton Hassell were a pain in the ass but MVP Steve Nash carried us with 31 and 11. What a game, what a sport, what a team, what a great time. Man basketball is great.
  23. Your not alone. I have no clue what he was saying... :dunno:
  24. Probably blacked out for the Boston markets (I really don't get why they do that) but I saw some of the game, wasn't really concerned with it because I am glad that Duke won and JJ's OK.
  25. You know, I was thinking that myself...I mean with the momentum they have, anythings possible.
