  1. that was terrible. way to wait till the last minute to get a hit Manny / Edgar.
  2. yup. but I had to copy and paste.
  3. haha I change it like daily. I'm fickle. yeah it's kind of nice. I've met most of those guys, they're way cool. I met Nomar back in the day, it was sad to see him go, too.
  4. yeah it was nice. my brother knows Theo from college so I had that opportunity. he's a nice guy. he was actually real surprised I complimented him on his playing, he said he doesn't hear much of it.
  5. thanks. I was a little just 'cause it's not like I like him 'cause OMG he's so hot like a lot of (stalker, heh) girls. I genuinely like him as a player and person. I've met him a few times in a non-fan type setting and he's a great guy.
  6. I agree. bring him up and send Ramon down. give it a shot.
  7. Christ can Embree get any worse?
  8. this game was so awful. actually the most awful part was our pitching.
  9. so I thought this argument was put to rest.
  10. doubtful they'll trade him.
  11. he's not even in AAA yet.
  12. serioussssly.
  13. sorry that's what I meant. and well put.
  14. once again. he's a career .260 hitter. if you want a bunch of .360 hitters on your team, go be a Yankees fan and they're still not winning. God. the Red Sox are made up of different types of players. I'm sick of this conversation and it's pointless for me to keep defending him on here since so many people hate him.
  15. thanks. part of the reason I like him so much is his attitude to the game. hopefully he heats up a bit more in the future.
  16. I agree that he's valuable to the team. Wake should go to the pen if / when Curt comes back.
  17. he throws a lot of strikes. which they expect, so they tend to swing at it which will sometimes result in a lot of hits if they're a good hitting team unless he throws a wicked good strike, then he's untouchable. he's valuable to this team, I think, and I hope he has more amazing outings like last night. it's a shame he couldn't get a CG in and we had to suffer through possible heart failure when Foulke got up.
  18. I agree that you can't compare. but what I'm saying is that Bellhorn is Bellhorn. he's not very different from last year in most respects, although he did slump at the beginning. but guys like Edgar and Manny, you expect different things from them and they're certainly letting us down and that's why those problems should be on the front burner, not Bellhorn.
  19. he hasn't moved 'cause that's hit spot in the rotation. and he has gotten out of the slump. he was .212 and now he's at .247 which are good numbers for him. the guy will never bat .350 'cause that's not him. so what.
  20. he is currently very good defensively. he makes very little mistakes, if any, on the field.
  21. what has he done lately? let's see he had the only RBI the other night. that's not at all important.
