  1. out of all the pricks on the white sox to hit a HR it had to be the biggest prick of all, Pierzynski.
  2. 7th inning. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
  3. To be honest, I hope he keeps doing it. He hasn't been wrong really
  4. http://i55.tinypic.com/2mx0uxi.jpg
  5. Bring back the roids!
  6. Oh and I had a dream last night that they traded Varitek to the Nationals for a pitcher. What the hell is going on in my brain
  7. Suicide is a part of Japanese culture. It might hurt his family a bit, but who knows? They could totally accept what he did, or even have a ton of respect for doing what he did.
  8. Just because someone makes a joke doesn't mean they don't feel bad about what happened, or is a heartless, compassionless person. I personally joke about everything, even if it's something that I care deeply about. I figure if I can't laugh or make a joke about anything, I might as not laugh or joke at all. Even the most saddest, f***ed up thing in the world has to have something funny in it. Although I can see where you are coming from, especially with this statement:
  9. I didn't know he had a pilot's license. Really though, that's a shame. 42 is young. R.I.P
  10. Why would you pinch hit for Varitek, who can hit decently, but not for Navarro, a rookie who can't hit well? That makes no sense to me. Is it the risk of Varitek hitting into a DP? Even that is a s*** reason. Hitting a fly ball that deeply to end a game is a lot less s***** than hitting a fly ball that deep with only 1 out and then having someone who can't hit come up and end it with a damn K.
  11. I always say we, out of habit, and because it's the easiest way to communicate amongst fans. It doesn't make me feel like a part of the team. Anyway, I don't think it's wrong to say we. The fans and the players work together in a way. It's like a symbiotic relationship. If there isn't players, then the sport basically doesn't exist, therefore no fans. If there is no fans, there is no point to the sport. Sure, players can play in an empty stadium in front of only themselves, but why would someone want to do that? You have a talent you worked hard at, you want people to see you use that talent. You want to be cheered and have atmosphere. Not have what you do show up as some number in a newspaper.
  12. Cool, I enjoy a good rain delay.
  13. I did for a split second...and I was the one who made the thread
  14. It's easier to throw off your mechanics if your arms and legs are long. The amount of work your body has to do would be greater than if you were shorter. When you are short you can keep everything compact, while taller people have longer strides. I can't really explain it well.
  15. The fate of the 7th now rests on the shoulder's of a corpse
