    ya anybody who says manny isnt firing on all cylinders is wrong... just look at how hes hitting the ball... he is the most consistent player in baeball .320 BA, 40 HR, 120 RBI, unless theres an injury those number are pretty muc h gaurenteed

    I agree exactly with what redsox rooter said... legally the guy prolly shouldnt have swung at sheff... but sheff did not show restraint the only thing holding him back was the 36,000 redsox fans that would be on him in a blink of an eye if he were to go in the stands...

    I think the Yanks have more questions than the sox do... i mean there not exactly blossuming either. Its not a big deal every regular season is almost the same, we'll be in 1st in june, fall 8 games out in july/august and finish 3 or 4 games out of 1st in september and well get the wildcard

    Yes its all that matters.... as far as stats.... but he is not as intimidating as he used to be batters dont go up their thinking "oh s***" they go up their thinking hes not as good as he was

    Fenway - The field's dimensions are f***ed, the seats are old, the food is expensive, and it smells like s***. But it is hands down the best park in baseball!!!

    Im sure some of you know why the green monster was put their, but for those of you who dont. it was put their after fenway was built because there used to be a hill their and people would sit their and watch the game for free but the owner didnt like that, so he decided to build a mongo wall so the spectators couldnt see. But thats odviously not a problem but I dont think there is ANY chance of the sox getting rid of it. Sure its dangerous, but damnit its history.

    Ya Im not overly concerned. I would have liked to have win those first couple games but in the end its not a big deal. Only thing that concerns me is Mr. Wells. Hes a gamer tho so I hope he'll come around but he definitly has not found his groove

    Well I wouldnt say their are no signs. I mean lets face the facts hes getting old, and he is not as feared as he was. I mean dont get me wrong hell get his 40 somthin saves and have an ERA under 2 but he has lost some of his mystique. No longer are baseball games against the yankees an 8 inning game as tjey used to be.

    Very classy on the yankees part, and I agree Torre is a very respectable guy. Having said that I dont want to make a post were I only compliment the yankees so... YANKEES SUCK!

    Rivera has blown 12 Saves against the Red Sox in the pst 4 years... I dont know whether its that we know him really well or just luck, but we have definitly gotten in his head, next time he goes to close out a save against us hes going to be really nervous and maybee.... walk some batters

    Mo has blown 12 saves against the redsox in the past 4 years. But hell probly go close 2/3 for against the orioles. But he cannot touch the RedSox
