    I love how the Yanks and Sox keep bringing players through at the same positions. Its fun to compare your teams players but I like comparing the teams prospects: Buchholz vs. Hughes Papelbon vs. Chamberlain Ellsbury vs. Cabrera Pedroia vs. Cano ....good stuff, great player development from both teams

    This guy is pathetic. I can't believe he put up the numbers he did in Texas. He is losing more games for us than we can afford. Cut your losses and just release his fat ass.....so we lose the trade...big deal it might still save our season if we get rid of him this second.

    I think it does make a huge difference what time of the year a team gets hot. The Yanks were torn to pieces in every newspaper, tv show, website...they were left for dead with no hope to return....now they are coming on stronger than imagined and you know they want to prove everyone wrong... meanwhile the Red Sox are just trying to stay afloat. Sooner or later they will catch up and have momentum on there side. Best way to reverse that is take the first series against the Yanks but with our offense I don't know if I see it happening.

    I'd say the timing really sucks for this team to have random issues. All the issues we have are costing us wins and this is the time of year you want to be firing on all cylinders. They need to get HOT because someone is right behind us and its not a fluke....anyone who thinks the Yanks are going to cool off is confused

    I'd like Kason Gabbard back please....he was better in the rotation than Jon Lester and our bullpen was better than it is now ....another bad trade for the front office? If the Red Sox blow this season and the lead they have had all year, they better fire a lot of people

    Yankees can't stop winning and we can't stop losing....getting hard to watch this team play with mediocre offense and inconsistent pitching....thank god football season is rapidly approaching

    What the Red Sox should have done was find a way to get Josh Beckett without trading Hanley Ramirez. At the time Hanley wasn't doing too well in AA and some other players might have been substituted...like say...Jon Lester
