  1. thats just a terrible sign.....everything is going Clevelands way.....starting to wonder if its meant to be
  2. Lucky to get out of it....still not a good sign as he is losing the strike zone....I predict 2 more innings unless he can suck it up and focus
  3. what do you know......another double play....amazing 2 for 2
  4. for the love of god Crisp....please HIT THE BALL!
  5. The double plays continue....never seen anything like it....more double plays this season than any other season I can remember
  6. Can the Red Sox remove Eric Gagne and replace him with another pitcher in the middle of a series?
  7. Lets end this.....Papi, Manram, Lowell on the way
  8. Maybe if he didn't swing like a power hitter (which he isn't at all)....that would be a hit
  9. I don't care what you do Youkilis.....just don't get out
  10. Something tells me nothing good comes of Crisp, Lugo, and Pedroia this inning.... Its the next inning of Youkilis, Ortiz, Manny vs. Borowski
  11. big inning.....the Guardians best relievers are gone while our best guy is coming in.
  12. Mike Lowell sees a bunch of pitches and works the at bat.....JD Drew comes in and pops up the first pitch.....typical
  13. Lets get to this guy.....give Papelbon the chance to close it out So far I only see fastballs from Betancourt....despite the strange delivery and 95 mph velocity....I would think we figure this out soon.
  14. In a tied game I'll take our bullpen over theres.....lets just get out of this inning
  15. I'd keep Lowrie and let him play SS. He may not be Alex Gonzalez or Orlando Cabrera....but he may be Derek Jeter. Jed Lowrie needs to make an impact offensively to be considered on this Red Sox team. A switch hitting middle-infielder with good contact and power skills is tough to find. IF he becomes a hitter in the mold of a Nomar, Jeter, Tejada, Renteria...whatever....he will stick around and play SS no matter what his range or arm strength is like. Lets remember that Lowrie is still very young and the more experience he gets at SS the better he will get. Perhaps his arm and range sit idle but his instincts will improve.
