  1. Alright, lets go. Finally a love service game. EDIT: Huge break point saved there.
  2. I think the fact that the Yankees' can be beat in a postseason series goes without saying. Any team can be beat in a short series. In my opinion the Yankees were the best team in baseball in 2002 and 2003, but didn't win the World Series either time. Conversely, they were not the best team in baseball in 1996 and 2000, yet they won the World Series both times. It just reaffirms that the postseason is crapshoot.
  3. Dammit. It was only a matter of time before Roger's serve hurt him.
  4. Come on Roger. Break back.
  5. Lucky to win that last point to even up the tiebreak. del Potro had control of the point. EDIT: And he finally get the first serve in but loses the point.
  6. This is starting to remind me of the 2007 Wimbledon final, in terms of how upset Roger is getting at the replay system.
  7. I don't think I've ever seen Roger struggle this much on his serve. I'm just happy he's getting a chance to play a tiebreak this set.
  8. Time for number 16?
  9. How exactly have the Yankees played bad teams? They play in the toughest division in all of baseball. Also, Joba, at least in the first round, will not start any games (if the Yankees have the best record in the AL).
  10. The Tigers may win the series, but the fact that the Tigers number two starter is better than the Yankees number two starter, by itself, does not justify the prediction.
  11. Solid performance by Federer. On to the final.
  12. Finally broke out.
  13. Wow, Teixeira has been awful today. Now it's time for A-Rod's selfish actions to hurt the Yankees.
  14. Pretty selfish of A-Rod to keep going at the umpire an inning later. EDIT: I wouldn't have an issue if Girardi benched him for tomorrow's game. Some of these guys need to understand that they're going to be held accountable for their actions. Now, because A-Rod couldn't keep his mouth shut, the Yankees are without their best hitter in a tie game.
  15. The bunting needs to stop.
  16. Nadal is in danger of losing in straight sets.
  17. But hey, there's nothing to play for!!
  18. This is pretty ridiculous. Awful job by Jeter on the bases and then Damon in the field. They struggled in the last two days, but today they're just embarrassing themselves.
  19. What an awful play by Derek Jeter. One of the worst base running mistakes I've seen in a long time. Literally cost the Yankees a run.
