I know See Red, I can not wait to see what the Sabres new uni's will look like, but they can't be any worse that the Ducks, can they? I haven't heard anything as of yet, but I'm just guessing their trying to ride the wave of excitement from last season and sell as much Black and Red merchandise as they can. If the Sabres had missed the playoffs I think they'd be making a much bigger deal out of the Blue and Gold.

I believe Hudler is the name involved in a lot of trade rumours with the Red Wings. He is a talented young center who could play in the NHL next year. He would be a quick replacement for Connolly if Connolly is indeed having injury issues. Also, They said they arent giving up Kronwall or Lilja. Its also known they prolly wont give up Lidstrom (obviously). They said they are openly shopping Schneider, he would be the guy. Isiah Thomas is without a doubt the biggest douche in NYC, The way he handles the Knicks is laughable at best. Larry Brown has proven his value over and over. Isiah is going down next. The Braves would want young players for Smoltz. Realistically, the Yankees will not part with Cano, Hughes, Wang, or Tabata for a 38 year old pitcher when all the players on that list could win them one or more World Series titles. Maybe Duncan, but that's about it. I think Detroit will make a deal for Smoltz if they are still in the race.
